What team do you think are gonna be in the playoffs....

Ludlow
Indy
Denver
Chicago
Greenboro
Pittsburgh
New Dawn

Those are my top 7....What does everyone else think...

Also who's moving up this season?

Wow, interesting question at this point. I think Ludlow and Indy have proven they are the cream of the crop and have an epic meeting their next game.

Denver has a relatively easy schedule left and a conference game against a weaker team. They should easily make the playoffs and I don't think they will lose in the regular season again. This is likely a 3 loss team.

Chicago and Pittsburg will likely battle it out for the 4 slot. Both have yet to play each other and Pittsburg has to face Indy yet. This is somewhat balanced by the fact that Chicago draws Santa Fe for a conference game and Santa Fe is a Western powerhouse. While both have a game or two left that could trip them up, it will likely come down to their head to head match up. The winner will likely be a 4 loss team. My gut says Chicago at this point, but both teams effectively control their destiny.

That means 4 losses is the mark to get in to have a chance.

Greensboro has just a murderous schedule left and can only afford one more loss in order to match the winner of Chicago/Pittsburg's likely record. That also includes a game at the end with another Western powerhouse in Gilead. I just don't see them getting through and only losing one more time.

New Dawn and Big 12 both need to run the table to stay in the 4 loss club and both have games left with Indy. New Dawn has the edge here as their only major game left is with Indy while Big 12 must look at Pittsburg and Greensboro as well as Indy.

Weaker team?

Our scouting report is just as good as Denver's...

Well then something is wrong with your gameplanning if you are 3-6

This is not me saying you guys are weaker, but the scouting reports are very misleading and are not a good representative at all for how strong certain teams truly are..

Bad choice of words on my part. The big slobber knockers I see for east vs west that have playoff implications at this point are Gilead-Greensboro, Chicago-Santa Fe. That is not to say the other games will not be close or good, but rather Gilead and Santa Fe are going to be a huge challenge for the east to beat and could have a direct effect on who makes the play offs. Even if Denver goes down against Seattle, that gives them 4 losses and they are still in the upper tier and it won't change the standings that much.

In fact, because of which teams got gutted/are rebuilding, the east-west games are going to be boring for the most part.

Tampa has somewhat of a weak schedule so don't be surprised if they sneak in.

They got the top of our league right off the bat, not always gameplanning...

Ludlow moves on by loosing to Indy the first time then beating them in the playoffs.
Top 3 east teams
Indy undefeated
Ludlow 1 loss
Denver 3 losses

Followed by(can be in any order) my guess 4 teams tie with 11-5 and the 5th is 10-6(I haven't looked too deeply to see if this is exactly possible but its a guess)
Pit
New Dawn
Greensboro
Big 12
Chicago

Played the best teams in the conference straight up...and when a team is rated 3 points above you straight away...it doesn't matter what gameplanning you do.

We got close to a lot of teams that expected blow-outs...in my opinion that tells us that we are in better shape than we think.

revisit this with the current loss to Indy....now it seems that the eastern Playoff could be wide open...

I am going to go watch Big 12 execute that masterful plan right now. Amazing! I am getting better at Defensive Coordinator bit by bit.

I don't think we will be able to surpass Chicago for third spot, unless they lose one more game.

'Forcing' 4 turnovers helps anyone's defensive game plan. =) Having your offense go turnover free in the same game = a HUGE boost to your defensive game plan..

Still only winning the game by a field goal...

Means I'd be very careful about how masterful I thought I was..

I'm speaking with the understanding that you are not on Big 12.. I'm just saying..

And I am certainly not discrediting Big 12 at all. It was a great win for them and they have a solid team. Part of being a good defense is forcing turnovers.. just making the observation that they might not force the same turnover differential if they see Indy again in the playoffs.. and in my opinion, if they didn't, they would be in trouble.

Anyone can sulk about losing games because of turnovers. It's part of the game and everyone should except them in triumph or defeat.

I still have not to watched it (on dial-up now). Turnovers aside, a win is a win.
