Power Rankings back, hopefully more consistently now.
#1 Omaha Dogs 9-0
Pros: Big 20 point win against the mustangs, perfect chemistry across the boards, and remains the only undefeated team in their conference and one of the only 3 in BBB #14. This game coming up against Reno might be the game of the year. They even beat last seasons west champ the san diego mauderers.
Cons: Toughest stretch of their schedule coming up. Reno, Houston, Orly, San Fran, Carolina in the next 5 games. All of them are potential playoff hopefuls.
#2 Reno 911 8-1
Pros: Almost perfect chemistry across the board, they've also beaten a number of quality teams already like mustangs, wildcats, apollos, and the owls. It also helps when your starting qb has only thrown 3 ints all season and your starting hb averages 6.7 yards per carry.
Cons: a 3 point win against orly shows that this team is beatable. Hopefully that win serves as a wakeup call for their upcoming game against the dogs.
#3 Albuquerque Mustangs 7-2
Pros: Another team with perfect chemistry across all 3 categories, and considered a legitimate contender for the west title. Their only 2 losses are to the teams ranked ahead of them. They destroyed Akron in a scrimmage, and that game right there shows you what this team is capable of. I can see them winning the rest of the games on their schedule as the worst is now behind them.
Cons: A day or two later after the Akron game, in comes the Bruins for the blowout. This team needs to get their head out of their ass when the playoffs begin. I have a feeling they will. They were my pick to win the west in the preseason.
#4 Orly Owls 7-2
Pros: With 3 level 28 players and 2 level 27 players, this team has got the talent to be the best in this league, and in 5 days, they will have the chemistry too! Their rusher has already practically hit the 2000 mark, is averaging 10 yards a carry.
Cons: Its going to be tough to win a close game when you have a level 15 kicker who has yet to nail a kick longer then 39 yards.
#5 Chattanooga Quarantine 7-2
Pros: 7 game win streak in the west is almost unheard of. Key close victorys over carolina and san fran has put this team in great position to make the playoffs. After a slow start, Kenny Palmer is throwing like the best QB in BBB #14.
Cons: 5 of their next 7 opponents: Oakyville, Mustangs, Reno, Apollos, and Akron. Possibly this team lose 5 of their next 7, but I think they could upset 2 opponents on that list. Lets wait and see.
#6 Houston Apollos 7-2
Pros: Its amazing that a team with 80 chemistry took top teams like Reno and Mustangs to the brink of defeat. It also helps when you have quality wins over San Fran and Oakyville.
Cons: Up next: two top 4 teams with Omaha and Orly. Chemistry is an issue, but its getting higher everyday.
#7 Oakyville Nungas 6-3
Pros: a 3 game winning streak is just the medicene they needed coming into a big game against Chatt.
Cons: After the reno upset, I thought this team was a top dawg in this conference. Then they lost 3 strait including two blowouts. 77 chem is not as high as the top teams and their qb having 6 tds and 13 ints doesn't look like favorable numbers when you have a level 30 and level 25 wr to throw to. I think i hear the "bring back ryan hart" chants.
#8a Carolina Bar Stars 5-4
Pros: All their losses, they played their opponents tough. They got a level 29 qb who loves showing his build to the world and a level 29 ss who loves doing the same.
Cons: 80 chemistry and their last 6 opponents are all extremely tough.
#8b San Francisco Wildcats 5-4
Pros: My prediction to fill the 8th slot to make the playoffs. Great Chemistry, an ability to avoid being blown out (with the exception of week 1), and great gameplanning by owners and gms who know what they're doing.
Cons: 4 tough games left on their schedule leaves 8-8 record as a possibility.
#10 Ambridge Bridgade 4-5
Pros: Winning 3 of their last 4 has them with a respectable record. The High chemistry also marks this team as an upset special.
Cons: Too many big boys left on their schedule will make it near impossible to make a playoff run.
Best of the rest
#11 - Wyoming - The bleeding has finally stopped. Every game left on their schedule is winnable. Lets hope morale aint too low.
#12 - Washington - solid rebuilding job with litte time to do it.
