I don't understand some of the reasons people give you sometimes for not wanting to sign with your team.

I have been trying to recruit a WR to take some of the strain off our WR corps. So I send a PM to this WR who is shopping himself and he replies that he can't play on my team because we are in the same conference as the Beach Boys which his freinds play on. I ask him why he wouldn't want to compete against them and doesn't he compete against them in real life playing sports perhaps or anything. I know me and my friends love competeing against each other.

It would make more sense for him to just say I already found a team or no thanks I don't see myslef playing for your team instead of giving some lame excuse. only a lil kid would think like that.

If it is the WR I think it is, he probably wants to play Pro ball anyway, for some reason all the higher level guys think they get more respect for playing pro, well I think it makes them seem like morons, for not thinking there is talent elsewhere, like HERE Woooo BBB12 4 Lif Yo

Ya that kid is a fairy, I said this in the other thread also - I bet him and his friends don't even shake hands firmly for fear of hurting eachother.

Thanks, I think the game made me angry and not think stright most of the time. I have come to accept the loses and things I can't control better.

My competitive nature causes a sour disposition at times, but I am trying.

But yeah, you still get some hackles up but you have mellowed a little, which is a nice change. The game sucks at times, we went from a solid defense to average to less then average in a season and for no real reason. I personally hate it and curse at every long gain we give up (so yes I was not a pleasant person to be around after our game!) but I take it out on the dog and let it go here...

Poor dog, he is my stand in for kicking my damn Kicker who is playing like shit this season too...

oh yeah recruiting... well that was one reason I looked for a team in the US since I knew more players would be inclined to play here. No reason for it just the mind set.
But overall, if you even get an answer you are doing 1 better them most. I hate to say it but I go into recruiting figuring I'll not get anyone I want and so look 1-2 levels up and down from my goal and hope I get surprised. Then I try and hold on to the ones I get like gold...
I check every now and then about building a player to see how many there are according to the game and get a good laugh from the 'too many' and yet cannot get a one for my team at times.

our kicker made the pro bowl last year and kicks like crap now. I think everyone's has suffered with some new changes or some crap

Wow... ok yeah yours sucks worse than mine... LOL... but you score more points so you can afford it for now... we die in close games by a missed PAT or chip shot FG...
