Agility, Strength, and blocking those are the keys my friend. My players was average at best until I pumped up agility and blocking. I'm a little drunk so please post your thoughts so I have something to read while I drink and hopefully argue

I started to see big numbers when I soft capped vision. I've never trained or put any points into confidence though so no idea how good it is.

Hmmm dunno about blocking. I would think the agility would be the key.

My level 12 guy

Strength: 48.5 Blocking: 12.2
Speed: 28.49 Tackling: 25.84
Agility: 64.34 Throwing: 8
Jumping: 12.2 Catching: 8
Stamina: 20.2 Carrying: 8
Vision: 14.05 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 12.2 Punting: 8

Hasnt seen success just yet but I have just the custom in pass rush SA's

Blocking helps you shed blocks, according to Bort. I've never thought about investing SP into it though.

It was actually DD that said it in the Skills Guide.

Not a big fan of blocking for DE's. Vision is useful but Agility is the KEY!

Vision is what it is, a secondary attribute. Confidence is not even a 2ndary attribute, simply because DEs don't need it unless you are getting laid on your ass all the time.

Blocking is nice, although I don't think it is worth putting points into.

I upped my vision a bit this season, and as far as I can tell I am actually doing worse. I would have much rather used the points in speed/agility or upped my SAs more.

Bort's said it before. Search doesn't work and I'm lazy.

Blocking does help, but the boost is rather minimal. Still enough to set training to blocking if you have nothing better though.

Julius Dee was the first superstar I saw on this game, so I patterned my first player I made after him two years ago, and vision was the last thing I worked on, it finally paid off big time a few games back.

Last game I had 7 sacks vs. A pretty good team.
