Has anyone flirted with this yet?

There are not nearly enough fumbles on sacks, especially when you have basically a free blindside hit on the QB. I've been thinking about dumping some FP in Big Sack and setting power tackling to see if it would help any.

most people say its quite useless
in a season you prolly dont have the many opportunities to actually cause a fumble so points there will be dead for all other stuff

I've had 7 chances in 6 games.

I'd say that's a good opportunity.

I've been considering putting some points in big sack this season. I wouldn't play on power tackling though, it would mainly just be for the QB morale loss.

Power tackling makes you miss sacks...I found out the hard way. Last game I was in, the box score listed 2 missed tackles for me. I went through it play by play, saw no missed tackles except for a couple of times I ran into the QB and just stopped...no sack.

But also, big sack is kind of a feast or famine SA, because its not a guaranteed trigger, nor is it guaranteed you will get a sack every game, or especially during crunch time.

AnTiNiNjA is right - power tackling makes you miss sacks! And I do believe he is right about the rest of it too...

Another one from the game yesterday, power tackling is on the scrap heap for me.

I've been wondering about the same...thanks for the info AnTiNiNjA! Also had 2 missed tackles today that didn't show in the play-by-play, only the box score...I wondered if it was a bug, but now I know. Thanks again. This was a doubly useful post! AWESOME!
