I may not be on much for a while - my laptop had a hardware failure this past Sunday. Since then, my online access from home has been limited. Probably not going to end up getting in many more power rankings, etc. til I can afford a replacement. But while I have a little bit of time from work -

Ivalice vs. Pittsburgh :
Not much to say here. Pittesburgh should take this one for a much needed W.

USMC vs. Honolulu :
The much improved USMC shouldn't have too much trouble getting past the Red Devils.

Rapid City vs. WCBW :
In a rematch from the end of last season, I see Rapid City getting some revenge here. Potential game of the week here.

Anchorage vs. Chicago :
Anchorage seems to like proving me wrong, which is just fine with me. I'll still be a Chicago loyalist and pick the Maroons to squeak by, but it wouldn't surprise me if this game went the other way either. Ought to be a good one.

Midwest vs. DVDTalk :
No disrespecxt for Midwest, but I think the Otters are going to be too much for anyone but maybe the top 2-3 other teams in the conference, and I think they'll be too much here.

Caprica vs. San Diego :
Caprica is one of the powers of the West, and should be too much for S.D. today.

Rocky Mountain vs. Jan Jose :
This might be easier if I had a bit more time to take a closer look at the teams, but since I don't, I'll go with the flip of a coin that says San Jose, narrowly.

Death Valley vs. Sioux Falls :
The Shadowblades are showing signs of improvement, but I don't think they're up for beating the typically solid Sioux Falls just yet.

Gulf State vs. Vice City :
Possibly the most meaningful game in the East today - a clash of 5-1 teams that could be huge when it comes time to determine tiebreakers at the end. Once again, I went with a flip of the coin on this one - its just that close - which says Vice City.

Memphis Showboats vs. Salem Cyberhawks :
Salem pretty much got to the point all of the East's earlier punching bags wanted to get to - contending. Memphis is taking big strides in that direction, and if they're going to get there, Salem is one of the teams they're eventually going to need to go through. Given performances so far, I think Salem takes this one, but not by a ton.

South Texas vs. Detroit :
All Detroit needs to worry about is how to not exhaust themselves in this one.

Miami Hammerheads vs. Michigan Rage :
The Hammerheads also get a break this time around - but likewise need to be careful not to wear themselves out while taking their break.

NBSK vs. Houghton :
NBSK stays on its regular season roll, and should have no trouble here.

Scranton Wilkes-Barre vs. Atlanta :
Things have been understandably quiet out of Atlanta for a while. Scranton also really needs a win here with some tough ones coming up if they want to stay in the race for the top few spots. Scranton wins this one, I think.

Las Vegas vs. Miami Makos :
Las Vegas is taking big steps, but they're not up to swimming with the sharks yet.

Did Anchorage's offense just boost for little ole us? Seems like last I checked they were all 23-ish rather than 26-ish.

I don't know what you're talking about. It may have to do with our next three games decide a lot this season. Maybe a little for revenge for last season's match up!

A lot of teams decided to boost after I posted the spreadsheet predictions. The spreadsheet isn't going to be that accurate this week.

Awesome, best tactical fakeout ever if that is the case.

Of course that wasn't my goal or why I started posting the spreadsheet readouts

My apologies, I didn't mean to imply that was your intention. Just the effect is interesting.

See the ->

That means I was being sarcastic. Of course that was my plan. Why else would we run a spreadsheet for 2 seasons and just now show one that had very suspect results (Anchorage losing this week, NBSK loosing to half of the Western Conference, etc.)

No the plan for the past few games was to boost before Chicago since we face three playoff teams in a row. As we saw in the East, one win can make a difference.

I wasn't talking about you guys. That's a walk in the park.

The effort was focused at and successful with other teams.

Yeah, dunno where the offense went in the second half. Starting to get the hang of Defensive Coordinator now. Was hectic going from offensive coordinator to defensive coordinator. Defense lets me be more creative though
