where do you think a level 27 wr should be at on these 2 stats?

also what do yall think is the secret to the overall scouting report bar for wr's? It seems like my guys cant get it over 36.

what should they be investing in to get that overall rating up?

Well scouting bars mean nothing . but increase speed/agility/catching I think they have pretty high effect on the bars . But then again , who cares ?

I would say vision at softcap and jumping in 25-30 or something like that .

Without high vision , high catching is useless .

With a level 27 I would guess a good build should have:

softcap speed
softcap agility
softcap catching
softcap vision
25+ jumping
30+ confidence
20+ strength

I don't think you need softcapped vision unless you also return kicks. With 30+ confidence you won't go on a roll of dropping balls, so that extra one you dont drop because of vision could be better spent in another stat.

No need for soft capped vision ?

Honestly only 28ish. I never put much into it, but I probably wouldn't softcap either at this point because I'm hardly ever overthrown.

^ Plus thats just one player at a much higher level than us. He has had time to train and use some more SP. Plus he's never posted his build, it could be a lie.

He has success in SAPL so he must be doing something right ?

Now I've never seen his build but I've talked to the scientist a little and I'm pretty sure he has just about the same attributes in speed/agility/catching as you guys , so why aren't you dominating Pro league like C. Clay ?

vision baby !

I'm not in the pro league thats why! Haha kidding there.

Theres nothing wrong with soft capping vision over time, it's just that at lower levels if you want an immediate impact I wouldn't suggest it.

I know what you're saying , and I agree alex .

But at the moment my WR is up there in levels , and well look at my last game and tell me it was a mistake that I softcapped vision ?

I'm with both Iversen and Alex on this.

Soft capping vision is fairly important for WR1/WR3 at higher levels, but it doesn't need to be a priority until about 20+. With the changes to catching, I'm seeing high-vision WRs do some impressive things, including targets/receptions in traffic.

To clear things up :

In levels from 1-20 make sure you softcap speed/agility/catching . While doing this train up your skills like jumping and strength to 20-25 and confidence 30+ .

But afterwards I'm a strong believer in vision has a high effect on how well you get seperation as well as making the catch .

Now clay has re-energized all those vision loves, lol.

I still don't beleive that vision is that important for WRs, though we do have 1 example where its made a player successful.

The reason I like vision is probably because I early on (read: when I was a noob) saw Bort or DD say that it was a very underrated skill and therefore I guess I didn't want to keep it low .

That's the same for confidence , I've just recently started training it because again I saw Bort say it was underrated .

So far I've had one good game , but if you'd like I will keep you posted on the progress ?

and now Bort says jumping is underrated, so you're going to soft-cap that next?
