Gentlemen,
I speak to you now of a very difficult issue that I have seen take flight. Earlier in GLB's short lifespan, approximately, season 1 and 2, I noticed a very simple act being undertaken by the masses. But, during these last two seasons, I have seen it snuffed out by the wretched and coldhearted.
Yes, I speak of /MANHUG. During these last two weeks, I have sent exactly 65 PMs to random people who will remain anonymous throughout the pool of humanity that is GLB. I received 3 /MANHUGS back.
One person was quoted as saying, "didn't want it to turn into a /CREEPYHUG" when I inquired as to why a /MANHUG was not given back. As painful as that PM was, I kept going strong, disbelieving and hopeful.
Now, I come to you, broken. A shell of a man who misses the /MANHUGS of old.
I implore you all, send out the PMs en masse to those less fortunate and rightfully deserving of a /MANHUG.
Do not go quietly into the night, my brothers! Rejoice knowing that the /MANHUG will rise again and vanquish the apathy that has tainted our once beautiful and vibrant GLB!
Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, so must the /MANHUG!
