I figured since it was mostly a positive response to the Week 4 thing, I might try again.
Alpha
Vilinus at Barger Hill
What a brutal stretch for Barger Hill, they got to start the season with 5 likely playoff teams in 6 games. The good news for them is that their schedule gets MUCH easier from here on out (minus a few teams, so dont get your panties in a wad, you know if you are competitive or not). Anyhow, Vilinus showed early in the season that they could beat the best upsetting Dubrovnik Week 1, but a narrow loss to Kazan either shows that Kazan has really arrived, or that Dubrovnik was having tactical issues. Either way, this should be an exciting game, Vilinus and Barger Hill have a ton of quality players, but Barger Hill has boosted at least some players and I think that and their momentum will be the difference and they will coast into the easier part of their schedule undefeated.
Couch Potatoes at Demon Brigade
Last week GCP had a 5 point lead going into the 4th quarter and continued to pass heavily and ended up losing by 9. Demon Brigade squeaked one out against a limping Sarajevo and if it wasnt for a -3TO margin for the Reapers, the Demon Brigade would have lost to a team that doesnt have their depth or talent. Both teams have pretty much boosted, so thats not a deciding factor, this game could come down to the fact that the Demon Brigade is stupidly deep with talent, although they have far too many players for each to get good XP, they probably are always fresh and confident (no that wasnt a Sure commercial). If the depth of quality CBs can cover the GCP passing game and slow down their rushing attack on the edges, the Demon Brigade could win.
Dubrovnik at Team Phoenix
A game for Dubrovnik to play with tactics and get backups snaps it should be 100-0 or so.
St. Petersburg at Kazan
This isnt last year's Kazan, they already beat 2 probable playoff teams and came close to another, just letting that game slip away, even with a more impressive offensive performance. Two weeks ago I questioned Kazan's defense and they had enough in the tank to stop Vilinus and shut down Washington. St. Petersburg has played 1 playoff team and lost badly, they also dont appear to have the kind of levels or depth, all signs point to Kazan winning this one, but its highly likely given the weakness of Alpha that the RARs will be in the playoffs.
Sarajevo Reapers at NFL Fanatix
I would rank these two teams on a 2nd tier of Alpha, both of them are solid teams, but one is headed up and one is headed down. NFL has solid talent, boosted early and came the closest to Alpha leader Barger Hill that anyone has, but a big loss to Demon Brigade shows that there is still work to do. Sarajevo on the other hand has played 3 probable playoff teams so far, had 2 close games and a bigger loss. I think that they are adjusting after losing some talent, but they didnt have a lot of talent in the first place. I think that if NFL doesnt get rattled by Sarajevo's defense, they should take this game.
Washington at NY Knights
Washington will be looking to squeak into the playoffs possibly this season, but should have no trouble with the NY Knights.
Minsk at East Alabama
Two gutted teams with similar situations, Minsk is probably in better shape overall talent wise, but both are having to play a lot of computers. Right now East Alabama is playing to not be demoted, though both teams are staring down the barrel of that gun. Winning games against other gutted teams is a must for both teams, but I think Minsk has more of their old regime intact and wins this one.
Sheboygan at Hungarian
Sheboygan might be in bad shape, but not bad shape enough to lose this one, they still have a lot of their talent in place and will run over a gutted team like this, its doubtful that Hungarian wins a game this season.
Okay wife is home I will write Zeta stuff later or in the middle of the night your time.
