Wow, we got 6 teams who are 4-1 or better. This is going to be a tough week to work these things out. Here goes nothing.


#1 Omaha Dogs 5-0

Previous Rank: 1

Pro: With the curse of having the #1 spot, Omaha managed to stay on top 2 rankings in a row. Its nice seeing a team throw for 600 yards and 8 tds instead of your typical blowouts where you have a running back run for 500 yards and 10 tds. They win with style, and I like that about a team. To quote a player from last season, "Omaha is on the map". I predict a close win over Oakyville.

Cons: I said last week you need to beat this team through the air. Omaha's run D is off the charts. Even though Oakyville might not be the highest leveled team, the NINJAS match up pretty well against the #1 team. Lets hope Negro Wilson gets a warm reception in Omaha.

#2 Orly Owls 5-0

Pros: And then there were 2. Man, I thought this was another over-rated team like Houston Apollos. The difference is this: They didn't just beat the ninjas, they spanked that ass with them. A 31 point blowout causing four turnovers is how you make a statement. Matthew Shanahan had a good game against a good team.

Cons: Last time I praised a team for upsetting Oakyville, they lost to the mustangs the following week.

#3 Reno 911 4-1

Previous Rank 3

Pros: They ran for almost 1000 yards against the condoms, err trojans. A lot of this team has yet to boost. They held the mustangs to 12 points.

Cons: They got 2 qbs, 2 fbs, and only 1 active hb on the roster. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Maybe not. Who the hell knows what works in this game anymore.

#4 Albuquerque Mustangs 4-1

Previous Ranking #5

Pros: Nice rebound game giving the houston apollos their first loss of the season. They countered Houston's passing game with a strong running game performance from both backs.

Cons: They seemed to have trouble throwing the ball completing only slightly more then 50% of their passes.

#5 Houston Apollos 4-1

Previous Ranking #2

Pros: After losing a nailbiter to the mustangs, they have an easy 2 games coming up which will put them at a solid 6-1 coming into the reno 911 game. Huge improvement over last seasons 8-8 record =)

Cons: This team has been all over the place on these rankings. From #8 to #7 to #2 back to #5. Its tough to get a read on this team. That could be a good thing or a bad thing.

#6 San Francisco Wildcats 4-1

Previous Ranking #7

Pros: Great convincing win over Wyoming. Their running game seems to be really coming together. This team has won every game they're supposed to win, and thats always a good thing.

Cons: they better not fall asleep on chat. I have a feeling Chat will be looking for the upset special.

#7 Oakyville NINJAS! 3-2

Previous Ranking #6

Pros: Even though they lost two in a row, they got two very tough games behind them. I know a lot of this team hasn't boosted yet, but when they do, I expect big things.

Cons: Loss to Omaha will put them at 3-3. This team was soaring after upsetting reno (who many people consider the best team), but unfortunately they've given up 34 points two games in a row. I'm sure all the gms would like to see more consistency on the defensive side of the ball. Unfortunately , it doesn't help when your offense only scores 3 and throws away 4 picks.

#8 Chattanooga Quarantine 3-2

Previous 8

Pros: Another 100 yard performance from Bo Rob has this team confident it can pull off a major upset against San Fran. The fact that they have 100 chemistry all across the boards is a huge boost as well.

Cons: Omaha and Orly both ran all over this team. Hopefully their front 7 has bulked up since those games.

#9 Carolina Bar Stars 3-2

Pros: 2 down, and the easiest one remains. Another guaranteed blowup tom marrow will put this team at 4-2 heading into Oakyville. All teams get an extra moral boost after 3 game winning streaks. Maybe this is just what Carolina needs.

Cons: I would like it if they threw it more then 23 times considering the passing game is their str, they complete almost 85 of their passes the last two games, and their qb is a level 28.

#10 Wyoming Express 2-3

Previous 10

Pros: Every team ranked below them didn't look much better.

Cons: 4 games left, and they're free!

#11 Washington Bulls 2-3

previous 14-16

Pros: Kudos to the owner who is doing his best to turn around a gutted team. Nice win.

Cons: Their entire starting D is still cpu players. Except one position of course.

#12 Ambridge Bridgade 1-4

Pros: They have an easy win coming up which is not a situation this team has very often. Potential for a 3 game winning streak here to put them at 4-4. High chemistry helps too.

Cons: I thought they would score more then 3 against chat.

#13 Kalamazoo Wolverines 0-5

Pros: Their passing game didn't look that bad against Carolina.

Cons: Unfortunetly, they just traded their qb, and their chemistry is at 10 overall. I been there before, and it sucks.



14-16 Furbergers and Cali and warriors

still no east rankings.

i was hoping someone from the west would do them to return the favor of me doing them for the west

I just felt it was hard to give me team credit when I'm the owner. A little biased =)

id rank the east. but i havent followed them to make the indepth analysis. id just rank them.

Good write up boss. And I'll see what we can do about that upset special

Yikes, this is a painful, painful stretch, but we'll be stronger from it

Carolina actually threw it 33 times last game, not 23. We are trying to keep somewhat balanced to keep defenses from keying in just on the pass and to improve our running game.

As we have had almost identical schedules to Houston I'd like to argue that we are just as deserving as this rank as of your guys's #2 rank last game before losing. Of course this doesn't mean I think we will end up #2 but as of now can't we enjoy without people talking crap that were in the same boat as us last rankings. Ha ha

how would we not deserve the number 2 spot we've had almost identical schedule as you guys and oh yeah we're still undefeated. gonna hold my next statement till after the next game

no problem, pleasure doing them for someone who enjoys reading them as much as you do =).

Its funny, because doing these rankings, I think I know more about the western conference then I do about the eastern conference, the same conference my team is in.

You can make an argument for Orly not being #2, but you can make an argument for any team being anywhere. This is how close the top 7 teams in the west are. Its amazing how top heavy this conference is. Its almost a coin flip as to who is coming out.

saw it high =) I go to the drive in to watch movies so I can smoke while im watching the movies. Weed is the best remedy to make crappy movies fun
