Just noticed that their overall Team Chem was down to 32. Im not scholar on the mechanics and how these are resolved - but that seems awfully low.

Chem that low will definitely be a problem for you. If I were to handicapp the game, not scouting either team's tactics, and not being able to see builds, I'd give us the advantage based on the chemistry. equal chem and you'd have the big advantage.
