The top play is from a game we played today, the bottom is a play from a game 2 days ago. We lost the game 2 days ago with all sorts of "goofy" things happening, but won the game today. So I ask you...

How is this a sack?

The first one could be a diving tackle.

The second one looks like turn shoulder.

I know, the OT and DE dots are basically taking up the space of the QB...lol

Bort has said before that QB moves don't show up as sacks (turn shoulder, etc...).

Also don't forget that the dots may not be the actual spot your player is. So that could be the situation with the RE in the second replay.

Yeah, the animation stops and doesn't show diving tackles.....kinda odd but what can you do

Yeah, but how many times have you seen Manning or Brady take a half a step forward and have the defender go right by with out touching him? Brady drives me nuts when the DE is about to hit him and he avoids it, I want him to go down!

no cuz he keeps his eyes down field.

Everyone seems to like to throw out the idea that the dots don't represent the play exactly as it is actually happening. Like say it shows your dot 5 yards from the QB and you get a sack, the sim may have him right on top of the guy. And vice versa, close but no sack.

Don't tell me the QB never took his eyes off the receiver while throwing a shoulder/stiff-arm/kick-in-the-nuts on this play lol.
