Anchorage Wolves vs. San Jose Skyforce
Anchorage has been pretty impressive thus far this season, and turned some heads by beating the bye weeks. They really showed that they have great gameplanners. Skyforce could be in for a long night... Anchorage by 56, Anchorage by 48

Midwest Mayhem vs. Honolulu Red Devils
Honolulu is missing their offense and hope to find it before their plane lands in the Midwest... Going to be a long plane ride home for the Red Devils.
Midwest by 38, Midwest by 15

USMC vs. Bye Week Vikings
Uncle Sam and his boys are riding high after winning a one possession game against the Silver Shocks. Bye week had a similar game, but came out on the losing end. I think we have an angry bye week that are looking to put a hurting on Uncle Sam's young men. Bye by 14, USMC by 5

Rocky Mountain Thunder vs. San Diego Silver Shock
The silver colored shocks played a good game against the USMC last week but came up a bit short. They might be ready to turn the the corner. It wouldn't SHOCK me if they beat the thunder by 49. (Pun Intended) Silver Shock by 46

Death Valley Shadowblades vs. Chicago Maroons
A lot of hot air was blowing out of the windy city last week after a loss to Sioux Falls. On the other hand the folks down in Death Valley hope they've finally figured out how to gameplan on offense. I'll take Shadowblades by 7 in this one in what I think could be a defensive slugfest. Maroons by 17

Ivalice Tacticianers vs. Caprica Buccaneers
Caprica lost last week in the battle of the division titans.
The best tacticianer in the world couldn't save Ivalice from this whooping. Caprica by triple digits, Caprica by 54

Sioux Falls Storm vs. DVDTalk Otters
The Otters are one of only two undefeated teams left in the west. Is their 4-0 start to the season just a product of a cupcake first part of the schedule? I think we'll see tonight if all the talk surrounding DVDTalk is warranted. My guess is yes. DVD by 14, DVD talk by 9

Rapid City Rushmores vs. Pittsburgh Highlanders
Can Pitt make it two in a row? Ummmm....no. Rapid City by 35,Rapid City by 25

Houghton Gremlins vs. New Hampshire Hustlers
The outcome looks grim for the Gremlins... Hustlers by just shy of 100, JUST SHY...

South Texas Skull Crushers vs. Salem Cyber Hawks

Hawks have been quiet since their upset defeat to the Menzinger----(Very well ran team by the way...) Look for the Hawks to crush the Skull Crushers. Salem by 50, Salem by 91

Akron Browns vs. Detroit Outlaws
Detroit didn't fare too badly against the eastern division powerhouse New Brunswick. Akron is reportedly in financial trouble and team owner, fleism, sold a couple of his players away. Detroit is too much for Akron. Detroit by 28, Detroit by 14

Las Vegas High Rollers vs. Michigan Rage
High Rollers are a team that I think are on the brink of success after being in the celler of the east for so long. I think they may have some upsets in them this season. This game however doesn't count as such... High Rollers riding high winning by 49, by 101

New Brunswick Scarlet Knights vs. Atlanta Wolves
All I can say for Atlanta is they are getting their tough games out of the way early. I think they will rise back to their playoff caliber in the second half of the season. They'll take there licks tonight then the wolves will get back on track next week. N.B. by 42, N.B. by 31

Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers vs. Miami Makos
Not going to predict this game because I have a dog in this fight, but I will say that Menzingers might have something for the Makos...

Memphis Showboats vs. Vice City Mambas
The Showboats's offense will really have to be clicking for this game to be close. I say Vice City by 17, Vice City by 14

***Game of the Week***
Gulf State Demons vs. Miami Hammerheads
Gulf State lost to one of the east's cream of the crop last week and face another one this week. Hammerheads have really broken out this season, and look to show they are a cut above the rest tonight. I think Gulf State will come out with a good gameplan, and well I'm calling upset in this one
Gulf State by 3. Gulf State by 10

Whew that predicting is hard work! There you have it week 5 as I see it. Good Luck to all, and may the best Menzinger win!

14-2 with a couple of hit and miss final score predictions. Not bad but not that good either...

Umm I don't know about that score. We had 91 on them last year when they were considerably weaker. With most of our players at the point were you are getting steady XP they have closed the gap. We have been scoring a lot this year which is really out of the normal. I look for us to score in the high 60s to 70s

I hope we come through for you on your Game of The Week pick!

We feel pretty good about our team and our game planning. Having said that we have been snake bit at times and have had to watch close games slip from our grasp. I believe we have made some acquisitions to shore up depth problems that may have allowed a game or two slip away from us last season. We also made some improvements to the offensive side of the ball wich has been an issue.

The New Hampshire game was a suprise as far as the score, but they are as advertised. We just have to keep it from reaching 2 in the loss column this week.

hmmm I sure hope you're wrong. But Gulf State got us in O.T last season with a field goal.
Looking to revenge that loss

GL Gulf State I'M looking forward to the slugfest.

Sorry about all the typos in the original post guys. Just took me so long to write that I didn't want to go back through it all and proofread after I got done. I think I got them all now though.

Tell me what you guys think about the write up and if you guys like it I'll write one for next weeks games too.

I didn't pay attention to who the OP was until I was shocked to see GwennA hadn't picked Chicago! (Instead I can't believe you picked us by 7!)

We're still tweaking the game plans to best fit our players. We'll see if it worked soon enough.

Great work OP ... no need to apologize on the keyboard skills.

GG Miami. It was one of those games where I kept waiting for the pendelum to swing the other way at any time. Tough hard running kept the chains moving and out of your offense's hands. We were fortunate this time. Good luck the rest of the way.
