Does anyone know anything about what causes them?
I am thinking that on Offense its Confidence, the play is called and the higher the confidence the less likley you are to false start.
On Defense I would think its Vision as you need to watch the ball.

I really cant see anyother stats that would make sense.

Vision and confidence affect both sides of the ball. Sad thing out of the penalties our team has had my players have been the ones causing them. I have lowest vision on our team but extremly high confidence

Vision is the major thing that plays into the false start and offside penalties.

It's obviously throwing. The less you have, the less chance you will throw the game by commiting a penalty.

I've heard for all Oline and Dline players, that they should have 30+ vision and confidence, and the more the better.

Still a good rule to go by And we have had very few penelties, not sure how it compares, but we get about 2 a game, not so bad considering how much time we have spent on O.

I've seen the same thing as well.

trust me, we're undefeated.

meh..i dont know about confidence and vision. The guys on my D are in need of them both and we rarely commit penalties. i think its just random
