Week 4 boasts some close games. Playoff hopefuls have dug themselves into an early hole and need to pull themselves together or are going to find it very tough to get into the playoffs. Tomorrows games mark the end of the 1st quarter and an 0-4 record or even 1-3 is not something you want to be looking at.
PTP at Mighty
The Chihuahuas defeated the GW's last week and look to continue an impressive start to the season. After losing to the Slugs, Mighty has a chance to start 3-1 but they have to unseat one of only 3 remaining undefeateds. The Plague are undefeated, but have yet to face a legitimate opponent. This game can help the Plague gain a bigger lead over the middle of the pack, or the Dogs drag another team into the muddled middle. I think the Mighty win this one.
Mighty 35-24
Virginia at Honolulu
Virginia's first loss of the season brought them back down to earth, this week they firmly entrench themselves there. The GW's have made some big strides in their first full season, but are not yet ready to claim a spot atop the conference. HBB cruises in this one.
HBB 48-17
Thunder at Minnesota
The Tunder get another creampuff to start the season and should easily be off to a 4-0 start. Minnesota will be one of at least two 0-4 teams after tommorrow.
Thunder 68-0
Aurora at Montana
The Crow are coming off their first win in 2+ seasons and are very optimistic about their chances, but with the unknown Seminoles coming into town It looks like the Crow may have to wait a few more games for win #2. Aurora is 2-1 with wins over bad teams and a loss to the Plague but Montana is still rebuilding so Aurora wins...I think.
Aurora 24-17
Chicago at Birmingham
Birmingham got knocked down a peg last week and Chicago needs this win badly. Chicago would fall to 1-3 with a loss here and does not want to be looking up at alot of teams ahead of them in the playoff race if they fall to 1-3. Tuff Beastwhich needs to get on the Juice and turn this thing around or Chicago is in Big trouble. My heart says Chicago wins this, but my head says no... Birmingham wins.
Birmingham 37-14
Dallas At Houston
Dallas can not afford to lose this game but neither can Houston. Unfortunately someone has to. With one win between the two teams this could be a knock down drag out fight. Houston is playing very well but running into tough opponents. Dallas is not living up to the expectations but have also played some tough games. Dallas Hired a new O Coordinator and I have a feeling their luck changes this week. Dallas wins, in a close one.
Dallas 28-24
*The Weekly how many can you drop on the Lancers tournament*
Lakewood at Palmetto
Palmetto is under new management and rebuilding. Cherish this week Palmetto, it may be the only win you get this season.
Palmetto 28-7
*Game of the Week*
Slugs at Long Beach
Long Beach Effed up my predictions last week, and being as I am a very bitter, spiteful, grudge holding SOB. Slugs Win... No really though the Slugs are an excellent team and in my opinion are the #1b team in the conference. The All Stars have a good team but I dont think it is enough to handle those slimy little bastards from Eugene. Slugs win.
Slugs 42-28
