He has been consistent seasons 1-3 but this year he's only had one good game so far. He's a possession guy and I have 6 SP's to spend, need some help on where to put them here's the build....

Strength: 22.06 Blocking: 15.23
Speed: 53.95 (48.95) Tackling: 7
Agility: 63.3 (49.3) Throwing: 7
Jumping: 32.67 (31.67) Catching: 39.75 (38.75)
Stamina: 31.14 Carrying: 25.18
Vision: 34.26 (33.26) Kicking: 10
Confidence: 33.48 Punting: 9

6-3-3-3-3 -custom equipment
2-2-2-0-0

I know people will say to add points int catching but right now I want to work on being able to get separation, my drops haven't been a problem. I am also going to boost about week 8. Any advise is appreciated. Thanks,

1) Consolidate EQ into just SPD/AGI. Maybe put those stray three into SPD.

2) I'd consider raising catching to the soft cap.

Beyond that, not really sure, but those seem like the "no brainers"

I already changed my equipment into only speed/agility except for Custom Equipment which right now I don't have the flex for. Thanks for some help no matter how obvious it is.

Very nice build my friend. If you ever do have a falling out with your current team where you GM, I'd gladly sell my house to get you on my team, just fyi, lol. Some advice..

1) Completely ignore the half dozen people who are going to say soft cap vision.

2) Stay away from putting points into 1 handed catch. Its a gimmick SA that is for the most part a SP drain except on maybe 5 receptions/year. I'd also stay away from further points in dive catch, unless your QB is all over the place. Regardless, your WR isn't going to be able to make a living on horridly thrown balls.

3) Possible Advice....

Working towards soft-capping catching wouldn't be a bad idea, for the simply fact that eventually you'll need the catching anyway, and soft-capping is good since it makes your auto-level SP's worth more. Though since your a WR and already past level 23 soft-capping really isn't that big of a deal.

Another option is pumping into jumping. Your a possession guy, and jumping will allow you to get some catches that would be deflections.

If you plan to be a smaller, quicker wes welker type however (which is what it looks like), I'd strongly suggest you pump agility towards the 2nd soft cap at 60. It'll take the next 4 levels or so, but with your eventual boosting thats nothing. Almost all CBs have 10-20 more speed than agility, and your increase to cuts as well as acceleration will definitely help you get open and take advantage of that. Everyone is ok with getting attributes to the softcap, you have to define your player by taking the right attributes past it, if you know what I mean buddy.

Train on carrying or strength if you want to break more tackles. Train stamina up to 35 or so if you want to be fresher/faster for your routes (I am well aware you don't have end game energy problems but they don't tell the whole story). Or train jumping, if you want to...um.... jump better...

If you at any point have any wavering loyalty, just let me know buddy, lol.

haha wow great post, that really helps me out. I was thinking about getting agility to 61 but I wasn't sure if that was the way to go. The points in 1 hand catch/jump/dive catches, don't remind me lol. One of those early mistakes you make and 1 hand catch sounded so spectacular. As for joining your team, if things were to break down (highly unlikely), then you would be in my top 3. Thanks for the thought and help man, its appreciated.

Oh. And if you would want Seperation. You have to bump up that first step to atleast a 5. Great boost in Accleration off the first step. Other then that WiSeIVIaN said it all.

My build now after boosting....

Strength: 25.11 Blocking: 15.23
Speed: 57.11 (52.11) Tackling: 7
Agility: 69.24 (55.24) Throwing: 7
Jumping: 33.61 (32.61) Catching: 50.02 (49.02)
Stamina: 32.08 Carrying: 26.59
Vision: 35.2 (34.2) Kicking: 10
Confidence: 34.89 Punting: 9

7-3-3-3-3 - Custom
2-2-2-0-0

Where do I go now? I'm thinking a few more points in first step and speed. Maybe get agility to the 3rd soft-cap when I can. What do you guys think?

work on your speedster SAs IMO. train strength, or carrying if youre one of those people, and throw random SP into vision and confidence. you just need to get some seperation really and with your agility you should be deeper into head fake and juke.

I suggest you get speed up to at least 60. Think about it this way:

You may get to top speed a couple yards faster, but they start with a 5 yard cushion (at least) and most corners pump agility/speed it seems so they won't be far off acceleration wise.

Even as a balanced/possession guy you still need some speed.

What do you guys think about this? Should I switch my custom tree to the speedster abilities or keep it on possession? I'm kinda torn on this one.
