Don't attempt a combo back, it doesnt seem to work as effectively as either elusive or power.

My opinion would be go with speed, agility, or strength. You can always just put a point into each, but it's been seen to be easier to get more production out of your player by soft caping one ability while day training the next important one. Example, you'd put your points into agility, while day training speed. You can always set a medium goal to instead of hitting the soft cap so quickly while neglecting the other abilities by say getting one to 30 then work on getting the second to 30 while day training the third ability, and so on. It'll take a bit longer for the build to come a long, but if your experimenting it'd be interesting to see how it comes out.

I think a combo back would be effective. In fact, my elusive back is going to get his strength up into the 40's so on outside runs he can break more CB/SS tackles.

Wolverines fan, try to find a thread on slow building (which is what Dark is referring to). Its the most effective way to build a player long term. He sucks for the first season or 2, but when season 3 comes, if built properly, can be a hoss.

Slow building sucks. Don't do it. It's a waste of time tbh..

Why make your player suck for 2 seasons just so on the 3rd season he'll play just like everyone else with good builds?

Thanks, I actually decided I was going to go with a power back after I made this topic. Had one game as like the third string back, got like 11 carries(31 yards), but I can probably do better once I level up of course, lol.
