I've had a little time to check out most of the teams, so i figured I'd put up my own predictions.

Flame Away

Game of the Week

--Phoenix @ Tucson-

Battle for the state of Arizona, two of the best team in BBB 13, should be a really close battle, and it will come down to the better game planing and depth. I think Tucson has a little better squad, particularly in the depth dept.

20-13 Tucson

--Roswell Space Pirates vs. Las Vegas Outlaws

Should be a blow out, Roswell big.

59-10 Roswell

--Colorado Springs Cougars @ Raving Mad Dogs

Colorado's OL will be able to move the ball a bit to keep this game closer than it should be.

38-17 Raving Mad Dogs

--Dallas Strikers @ Tallahassee Teabaggers

Should be another good game, will come down to energy management, tatics, and depth. I like Dallas in the upset.

21-17 Dallas

--Chicago Thunder @ San Diego Blaze

Should be a close game, Thunder have an edge at just about every position, but its slight at best. Thunder win this one late.

31-24 Chicago Thunder

--Springville Renagades @ Anchorage Maulers

The is going to get nasty, best team in the league vs. the worst. Anchorage big from the first drive of the game.

--So.Cal Beach Bums @ RGB Berzerk

In what might end up being the battle for 12th and 13th in the league. Should be a great game for both of these games. RGB is better on defense and should be able to contain So.Cal's offense.

34-21 RGB Berzerk

--Las Vegas Legends @ Fresno Jaguars

Fresno is sitting at 2-1 mostly due to a pretty easy schedule thus far. Their defense should be able to keep it close for a while, but the Legends will put out a big victory here. I don't see Fresno scoring more than 10.

Yeah, Dallas was my preseason favorite to win the league. Anchorage a close 2nd...

Phoenix Resurrection over Tuscon Nighthawks (Correct)
Anchorage Maulers over Springville Renegades (Correct)
Las Vegas Legends over Fresno Jaguars (Wrong)
Tallahassee Teabaggers over Dallas Strikers (Correct)
RAVING MAD DAWGS over Colorado Springs Cougars (Correct)
Roswell Space Pirates over Las Vegas Outlaws (Correct)
RGB Berzerk over So. Cal Beach Bums (Correct)
San Diego Blaze over Chicago Thunder (Correct)

7-1 in week four bringing two week total to 12-3.

I can't argue with Phoenix beating us. I can't argue with us beating them, either. It should be a really good game. We're doing our homework and looking forward to trying to reclaim the state title.

Picks for the West here would be;

Tucson > Phoenix- I rate Phoenix highly but Tucson get a chance to show off their D. One of maybe three teams in the league whose D-line can match Phoenix head on.

Anchorage > Springville- Even accounting for my personal bias, I think I can call this for the Maulers, apologies Springville but it's a long slow process

LV > Fresno- Rate both teams, expect LV to grab the first half, Fresno to come back strong, likely no more than a touchdown in this one but will give LV the edge on history

Tallahassee > Dallas- Two top teams, Tallahassee need a big statement win and i'd guess this will do it, they've boosted a bit more at this stage and with two evenly matched teams I expect them to sneak it. Would pick a slight Dallas win come playoff time when both teams are fully boosted.

Raving > Colorado- Comfortable win against an improving Colorado side, give it a season or two and it might be a different story

Roswell > Outlaws- Quality difference tells, Roswell have gone through ownership change the better

RGB > So. Cal- Two close matched teams, RGB seem to have fewer glaring weaknesses, and take the win in an ugly game

San Diego > Chicago- San Diego pass well, Chicago defend the pass badly, need I say more.

Yes, yes it is, but it will be worth it when we get there. I think we'll still turn some heads by the end of this season.
