Don't put any more points into SA's for a while (I'd say at least level 16). Don't spread out your equipment. Decide what major skill your back will have and put all of your equipment there.

You need stamina. Carrying is now a major skill (more important than vision IMO) so I wouldn't let it lag too far behind.
