Virginia at Seattle
Seattle is under new ownership and may have a chance to turn the ship around in time for the playoffs, but they are still waiting on the cabin boy to swab the decks and drop the sails. They are dead in the water in this one. Virginia wins.
Virginia 68-14
Aurora at Minnesota
The newly relegated Seminoles lost in week 1 and Im still waiting to see what kind of team we have on our hands here. Looks like it will take another week to find a real barometer as they win easily in Minnesota.
Aaurora 56-10
Dallas at Mighty
Dallas put a beating on Seattle under CPU ownership and that is what they were expected to do. The Chihuahua's fell to Eugene in a tough game and this week they brought extra Chalupa's. Yo Quiero Taco Bell and the Chihuahuas win
Mighty 34-10
Timpanagos at Long Beach
One of two things happened last week. Either the Thunder struggled with the tactics or the Toxins are much better than we anticipated. Only time will tell, but Im swaying towards the tactics... The Thunder straighten out their gameplan and dispose of a very tough Long Beach team.
Timpanagos 20-10
Chicago at Houston
Tuffy Beastwich and company come to Houston to face an upstart bunch that nearly knocked off the Thunder in week 1. Both teams look for their first win and do not want to fall to 0-2 in a tough Western conference. Im not sold on Houston yet, but stranger things have happened. Chicago wins.
Chicago 31-17
Montana at Birmingham
The Bears name change has served them well so far. Its early in the season and they get to ease into the year with two easy games, but dont sleep on the Crow. They are outmatched yet again but are slowly making strides and should keep this game at least competetive in the early goings, and with the sims new taste for being retarded who knows? Bears win, but Crow keep it more respectable than the past.
Birmingham 34-21
*Blowout of the Week*
PTP at Lakewood
Im going to turn this section into a sort of editorial on whichever team gets to trounce the slow building Lancers each week. PTP is a playoff contender and should run the score more often than Wilt Chamberlain in a whorehouse. The Plague came on strong and turned some heads last season and have their goals set a little higher this season. Can they make the jump into the top 3 teams? Im not sure yet but they certainly have the talent to make a case for such considerations. The problem is that the West is loaded from top to bottom with a few exceptions and a team that is a top 4 team could easily slide completely out of the playoffs with a bad streak of a few games. This game in now way will start such a streak for the Plague but they need to win early and put themselves in a position to lock up a playoff spot early.
Plague wins 84-0
*Game of the Week*
Eugene at Honolulu
The slugs look to be a powerhouse in the West this season and have either boosted or had some major players level up after week 1 which makes them even more deadly. Both teams are coming off week 1 victories and look to take an early step ahead of the other in the playoff hunt. Most likely both teams will finish with high seeds and todays game may determine who takes the #1 spot but at the very least it will make it much more difficult for the loser to do so. Judging by todays early games, the outcomes are going crazy and for me....Its just been one of those days. Slugs leave a trail of slime as a missed XP determines this one. Slugs win...thats right you heard it here first.
Eugene 28-27
