Had an alwful game defensively stopping the sweep/pitch even though my AI's had LB's shifting to strong side every time and they ran right up the TE's arse.

Has nayone else had this problem

I ran a 4-3 on this game

You sure you have it set correctly? On this play the LBs were shifted to the weak side: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=118240&pbp_id=1538322

Weak shift the play before that, too.

Did find one that was a strong shift, though.

my LB shifts seem to be working correctly as of last game.

FB determines strongside, that is why it is a weakside pitch even though the TE is lined up weakside. (in this case).

All we've had in the past was SS TE line ups...

In real life doesn't the TE determine strongside? Of course in GLB the TE always lines up on the same side (I sure hope we get to change that eventually).

FB determines SS in majority football. It does vary in certain situations. (FB behind QB then determined by TEs/Slot receivers, if no FB by where the receivers are, wishbone it is what side the TE is on etc.)

TE usually sets SS when linemen are in 2 point stances (predicting pass fairly easily) so that you gt a good pass rush unless the TE blocks.

Anyway, TEs don't line up same side anymore. The pitch (again) is a WS pitch with a TE on WS. there is also the Ace formation (gotta love it!) With 2 TE on the LoS.

Got an example of that? I just watched my whole last game and both teams had the TE always line up next to the RT. Did see one two TE set (that wasn't goal line).

That is an example. SS shift to the FB takes them to the opposite side of the play.

Thanks for the help guys - we have not got the build to be taken out the play like that and make up with speed so i'll change the settings to no shift.

So given this information, would it be best to center the LBs, instead of shifting them?

Not in GLB it doesn't. On the weak I formation, the TE's side is the strong side. Based on my input/output %s, I can say that with 100% certainty.

Can you link that replay with TWO TEs non goal line?

Third and short, I wonder if they set it to be a short pass.

Thanks. Have you seen any run plays with SBB?

Nope. I think the offense playbook is still pretty limited. I guess there are only two FB runs, both to the inside.
