As the title says , how much confidence do you think a WR should have ?

Personally I've been ignoring this skill with my WR , but do anyone know how much it will help and when will it help ?

Is it only when you drop a ball you will need it or is it also if you get one deflected/intercepted ? And what about failed 3rd downs ?

found this brief statement for confi.3) Confidence affects morale. The higher your confidence, the less affected you are by bad plays, or the faster your morale regenerates between plays, or the more you regain on good plays, or all of the above. The specifics don't really matter, the important thing is that higher confidence = good for morale, and lower confidence = worse for morale

I know I have seen something somewhere and i am going to find it lol. It's bothering me now.
here is another one ----------vi.Player morale – works like energy as a stat modifier and is affected if you make a big play, or a big play happens to you. For example if you’re an OT and you allow a sack, your player’s in-game morale will drop. If you’re a WR and you score a touchdown your morale will go up. After the game, your morale bar will be set based on whether you won or lost the game. If you won, your bar will go up, if you lost it will go down. And if the team go on a losing streak, your morale bar will drop quicker. The morale bar tells you what morale you start with at the beginning of the next game. Confidence will help your morale in-game by preventing your morale to drop too much after a bad play and boost your morale more when you make a good play. When the new season starts, your morale will reset back to 100

Yeah sorry for that drawn out answer lol. I think it isn't really saying that if morale is fine then conf. is ok, I think it is the opposite of that. The higher your conf. the less your morale is affected when those plays don't go your way. Which allows you to recover from them faster, not ending up in a downward spiral. If you are on a team that is doing horrible(my OT) then you may need higher conf. to maintain that morale. Otherwise you will prob. perform poorly the next play your in on, or even the next game. Long again...sorry

I dont know about WR. But confidence for other positions triggers special abilities. Its not just a morale booster. For instance confidence for a nose tackle is suppose to make D line General work.

It's okay with the long answers zollins , better than those "co-sign" answers I'm used to in SA pro forum (Cobra Kai) .

But the thing is , I'm on a mid-league team and don't really have any problems with drops , but still Bort said that confidence is the most underrated skill in the game . But does that count for WRs as well ?

Because as I see it a WR can't really do those bad things that other positions can (OTs can allow sacks, QBs INTs etc.) .

So is about 25 confidence enough for a WR or is more needed ?

Depends on Level.

For me like this

Lv.10's - Should be between 15-20
Lv.20's - Should be between 21-30
Lv.30's - Should be at least 40.

Reason I say 40 once your in the 30's is because it will make you stand out as a players much better. So I'm actually thinking once I boost again next season to toss 10 points or so on confidence.

I'm a lvl 22 and have almost 31 in conf. right now. I felt it was important enough to get some into that, especially early on when I was dropping a lot. I wasn't sure if it was my build, the QB's build, or whatever, so I figured to keep my guys head in the game, even after dropping 1 or 2 time, I would get that up, and try to make it not a factor. I'm not sure what the exact rules would be for this, but dropping a ball, letting a CB get an int., or a deflection, could have just as much affect on the game as anything. And if those things happen regularly it could become a problem.

So I guess I could have just stopped talking along time ago, and prob. just said...yeah if your morale is fine then your conf. is ok. I think I needed to explain it to myself lol. I just don't know that if you drop 6 passes in a game, but your team wins convincingly, would that cancel out the affect on your morale, atleast to a point?
