If there is interest, I will volunteer to compile some "Official" Power Rankings in much the same way as my predecessors...

If I can get a committee of volunteers, I will compile and post them.

Basically, my thought is to have a committee of say 5-9 people simply rank the teams in order. I will drop one highest and lowest score for every team and then average the remaining rankings to get the weekly ranking.

If people send in comments, I might post them, might not... depends how much time I have honestly.

Most likely, I will do these rankings for a few weeks and then be bored with it and stop but hey, that is better than nothing I guess.

Now for the disclaimer:

Like Okole said about the league awards - don't bother whining or complaining, I won't give a crap.

Unless you are on Bourbon Street, I likely don't know you and you can safely assume I probably won't like you either... so I won't care about your whining and complaining. You will just be wasting your time.

You won't be bothering me, offending me, or wasting my time - as I won't bother reading the complaints anyway. I just delete things without reading them when they come from strangers and/or people I don't like. If you are planning to take the time to complain about rankings, consider yourself to be part of one or both of those groups.

So, if we have volunteers who are interested in ranking the teams (and providing comments at their own discretion), you can "sign up" here.
