Warrior General Games

So part of my daily life is taking care of my grandparents. 3 years ago, my grandfather had a stroke that left him paralyzed on his right side and without the ability to speak. My parents are both at the age where they are working towards retirement and don't have much time besides what they spend working. So to help out, I moved back home (taking a hiatus from school to do so) and started taking care of my grandparents on a daily basis.

Yesterday (saturday), things took a major turn for the worse. My grandfather suffered another major stroke and my grandmother fainted in the commotion surrounding the paramedics trying to lead my grandfather into the ambulance. They revived her, but are currently unsure if she broke anything when she fell. I came home from the hospital to write this and catch some sleep before heading back up there.

Because of this, and what this means to my family financially and emotionally, I'm no longer going to be able to remain owner or a member of the Billy Goats. I sincerely hope this is not labeled the same as "gutting" a team, but there is no other option for me to take.

I offered to transfer the team over to my GM and real life friend, brand0, but he will be starting his medical residency next week and will be devoting the majority or his time to that.

I want to apologize for what this does to the league. I understand how frustrating it can be for this to happen, especially to the best league in the game. I've enjoyed my time in the WEPL immensely and wish everyone the best.

Hey GLB is just a game, you don't need to apologize for anything concerning your real life which is way more important than what's going on here.
It was a lot of fun to play 3 seasons against you, I wished we could have beat you one time, and our games were always very closed, but we will remember the Valencia Billy Goats in Paris (not because you were our only playoff game ^^). You contributed to a nice atmosphere in the league.

I hope things with your grand parents turn out well, good luck to whatever you are doing out there.

Thanks for the memories Dublin, you are and always will be a respected member of WEPL.
Would love to see the Billy Goats, as the first WEPL Championship team remain in the WEPL, so good luck on whoever takes them over.

Imo, a gutted team is when players are sent purposefully to other teams to benefit others.

I for one would like to see Dublin's considerable contributions to the WEPL honoured by perhaps naming the Zeta Champions or even WEPL Champions after him in perhaps the same way that the names Hunt, Mara and Lombardi have their name's associated with the AFC, NFC and Super Bowl Championships.

A fitting tribute to a great owner.

I would love to name the WEPL Championship after him. Couldn't think of a better person to name it after.
