I don't see any hard hitting LBs, only fast agile ones. Am I the only hard hitting LB?

I have strength at 50 and tackling at 51. Granted I could use some more agility which I will put all 5 of my next points into, but other then that, I see him as a hard hitter. He has good speed and plays ILB and backup for MLB and LOLB. I have his tackling style on force fumble and he's only missed one tackle in the past two games.

Are there any other hard hitting LBs out there?

I got my guy's speed/agil/vision up to handle containing runners/TEs, and now I'm pumping up strength and tackling to hit them hard when I do get them.

I'm not at 50/50 yet, but one of the guys on our team is at 60/48. A few of our safeties have high str/tackling too.

I've built a very balanced LB. I have been a fumbling machine in the past, but recently I have strayed away from it. I'm trying to bring back those bone crunching hits though.

all MLB's shold be hard hitters... to smash those pesky HB's that think rushing the middle all game is a good idea

The problem with making a hard hitter is that if you can't get to the ball carrier, you can't make a play. This is why most LBers start with speed and agility and move from there. I'm in the process of working my guy up to 50 str/tck but that is gonna take me 5-6 more levels. Maybe by the end of this season.

I'd consider myself a hard hitter, but I'm balanced well.

I'm quick enough to get to the ball carrier, and strong enough to lay down a huge hit when I get there . I don't really excel in one particular area...I'm more balanced than anything.

Plenty of FFs on wrap up. Plenty. I'd put strength at the least important of the top 5 categories for a linebacker.

I have my strength and tackling at 50+ and tackling on FF and I still haven't forced 1 fumble this season (or preseason) yet. I've only missed 2 tackles as well.

.... You haven't even made 20 tackles on the season yet

What does that have to do with anything? I have a LB that is VERY VERY good and only has 18 tackle son the season.

Is someone hasn't even made 20 tackles on the season, what are the chances they will force a ton of fumbles?

Do you know anything about football?

Yes, that's why my LB with 18 tackles has forced a fumble

Obviously the main part of getting FF is the guy carrying the ball, if he is going against well built players he is going to have less of a chance of forcing a fumble.

I agree with that. If the guy has high carrying, FF are hard to cause despite being a hard hitter...
