Right now I plan on adding a Stats page, I have someone creating a banner for the top to replace the one that says site under construction. Let me know what you think, anything I should add?

Honestly, it's nice, simple, and flashy enough to be effective; perhaps a "history" section with previous season stats (if applicable at this point); if your team has a "Hall of Fame' or "awards" section, that could go in as well.

Yeah, I thought about those, but because it is a new team, I thought I'd wait on those. I was going to do the stats like the depth chart and have links to each season, and I'm going to update the roster the same way once we get to next season.

It's effective... Sure, it isn't "NFL-Quality" like a few of the sites I've seen on here, but that is all purely supplemental.

What template did you use for the site? I like the REALLY basic setup and am WAAAAYYYY to lazy to utilize all of the HTML crap I used learned back in school. lol

Graphics are more of my thing now-adays.

If you go to the synthasite.com, it is completely free to create and host your page, and they give you templates. I used some basic html that I learned in high school a few years ago (I found my old flash drive and used similar code to make it work for my site). As I got going I started to pick it back up. Got free hit counter code and free chat code by google searching for it.

Sweet... It's been a few years (like 4, actually) since I've built a website and that stuff really takes a lot out of you!

Same here, but in high school I did a project for my HTML/JAVASCRIPT class making a depth chart and roster, so I found them in some of my old files and changed the player names around and added info into the roster.

Haha, who'd have ever thought that would have come in handy?!?!? lol

You guys are looking good against the competition over in Oceania A, btw.... Definitely has the makings of a strong playoff run.

That's what I'm hoping for, I've put so much time into this damn site over the past week. Now I just need to upgrade and add depth at a few positions, but hopefully we can bring home a championship.

I've considered building my own A-League eventually, but I have enough fun on the team I GM now that it'd be pointless.... Maybe if we finally pull down a championship or something... lol
