I returned punts for a season and a half. I stopped as the CBs on my team got better and I needed to be on the field more for defense. I was pretty good. Over a 30 yd average on kickoffs. 17 yds on punt returns.

Vision does need to be higher. Carrying needs to be higher if you are going to do it full time. Which is one thing I didn't want to put points in so that was the start of the end for my punt returning time. I had a fumble that I lost at a key point in a game, was the second point.

You should probably leave kick returns to a CB5 or WR5. I don't know too many teams that have enough safeties that they can afford to allow one to return kicks and punts. Add to the fact that they often have less tackling and more into speed/agility as well as the possibility of return spec and CBs become even more viable return options

well first 2 games have passed, and im about 10 yards per punt
