sounds like plenty then, when do they start coming out? Do we get any preseason rankings like they are doing in Alpha?

My system requires data, so you won't get anything from me until week 4-6...

No preseason ranks from me either. They're worthless.

Similar to Ballbright as I reset scores at season's start and move from there. Early weeks have little seperation between teams.

If you saw last season's Elo listings, it had a built in home field advantage (based on a the actual soccer elo ratings), and home field doesn't jive with GLB much.

Planning on keeping with the winning margin factor in the Elo rating, and adding team chem diff factor instead of a home field advantage factor for prediction attempts.

These guys all just post their mathematical formulas.

If you want to take the time to write up something a little more substantive you are more than welcome.

I think the posts that we get are more than just "mathematical formulas". They are very accurate and very well done. But to each his own.

I'm just happy there is something done I'll sit back, watch and learn the ropes this season -- I committed to doing the AAA#2 rankings for one more season as requested, and may transition that up to here next season if I feel it would add anything to what is already being done.

I think a more opinion based power rankings would be great at this point.

There are so many good teams it would make for some excellent trash talking imo.

I don't recall seeing any real power rankings. Am I wrong?
