Could anyone please explain what in the world is going wrong?

I am totally at a loss as to why our QB did so extremely poorly. We have a very solid WR core to boot.

You could use more vision and strength but you still shouldn't have that low of a completion %.

did you watch the game film? were there many bobbles?

I'd suggest confidence, and put some points in field general. Agility has also been rumored to affect quality of the pass, too.

What kind of game plan? Was there much deep passing?

About 40% deep pass, 60% medium.

I'm baffled.

12% is insane.

Its the team you came up against... they owned your receivers.

you line game you lots of time, but the cover team was just too good.
remember, it doesn't matter if you have a level 22 QB in a league of players averaging level 10 if the team has a better defense then you do receiving.

not saying that about your guy just using it as an example.
try to work with it... could be a tough season, but you'll figure it out.

A. The DB's on the other team were Studs.

B. Your QB needs more vision. I went in and watched the play by play for the whole game, every pass your guy threw. He threw into double, even triple coverage a dozen times. I know he has pretty high vision, at 57 right now. But looking at the film, thats what I saw.

C. Confidence. In the first quarter, your QB did pretty well. You guys had the lead, the defense was shutting down the other guys. Then your D started sucking. You guys were on the field a LOT, burning breath, and trying to come from behind, after throwing picks, and deflections, that just causes more picks and deflections. Try to add to confidence/Field General. A level 24 QB on a good team should have at least 2 or 3 into it. The SA's start becoming very important around level 24, at least facing opponents that are level 24ish.

D. There was some fishy stuff on the film. A few times, he threw the ball just...5, 6, 7 yards away from the receiver, just not even close. Like, level 7 QB throws. Something that should NOT be occurring for a guy with 86 throwing.

I wouldn't kick yourself. I think part of it might have been the new AI stuff. Have a chat with whoever your offensive coordinator is, have him check over all the AI settings, and make sure they're all....normal-ish. Make sure he didn't have stuff set in weird situations Think about getting some more SA's. Your attributes are pretty good tho.

Probably too top heavy in throwing with level 4 supporting stats like speed and agility. It doesn't look like you can ignore secondary stats anymore, since they play a supporting role with your throwing.

Agility triggers the Tight Spiral SA

Nothing triggers the SA. If it doesn't say it needs something, like some of the power back skills need good size and strength, then it doesn't need anything. It's already been said by Bort that the tool tip from hovering over the skill gives a good implication of what it does and if it needs anything for it to work.

There are literally hundreds (thousands?) QBs passin every day on GLB. Bad luck is bound to happen to someone. If you consistently do very bad, then you have an issue.

might I ask what advanced tactic you were using? Bullet Lofty or average?
