That's because the DL are better this season

i don't think thats such a huge issue just yet. we're all still adjusting to the new settings. i noticed that my FS was out of position quite a bit and my DC said he was sure its settings he's messing with. once everything gets figured out we'll be fine. plus, if the new settings are helping your D be more effective you stats should drop, we usually only get what other people leave behind.

If the FS isn't getting stats then thats probably a good thing. You don't want him having to make a ton of tackles, that means the WR beat the CB and got the catch.

My FS had 4 tackles and an INT in a 58-3 win. I'd say that's not too bad.

9 tackles and a FF...not too shabby even though it was in a loss

like the man said...great stats for a FS is usually a bad sign

I think the new AI is going to give me a bad season I'm always in a super deep zone doing nothing except tackling people of passes over 20 yards, which is one time

Yeah, I was one of the people that pointed that out. I hope my team gets this turned around!

I think you are probably seeing a lot of cover 1 while guys enjoy the new blitz schemes... leaving the FS playing deep middle. Yeh if he's getting much stats... it's probably a bad thing. Most of my (I know low lev guy) FS stats are from catching RB's.

Our Safeties have a combined 47 tkls, 2 PD, 2 MstTlk for the first two games of the season. Bad sign.

As a FS, you want to worry more about stopping the pass rather than making tackles.
