level 14 QB in 13 cap leagues, already boosted three times.

Strength: 36.54 Blocking: 8
Speed: 12.6 Tackling: 10
Agility: 12.6 Throwing: 64.2
Jumping: 12.6 Catching: 12.6
Stamina: 16.2 Carrying: 12.6
Vision: 44.2 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 25.64 Punting: 9

+2 on all of pocket pass tree

First scrimmage I sucked bad. 3-13 for 9 yards. That included 6 dropped passes. My level 7 back up had most success even though I have far better stats in ever area.

Only 1 WR caught a pass. 4 went to HB even though we only have 5% of passes going to them on UI. I also had a lot of passes get deflected. Anything I could do to fix this?

It's not a QB strength problem, it's a WR catching problem. The formulas changed and your WR's need more than 35 catching now.

In general do you think pass speed (influenced by strength) makes passes harder for WRs to catch?

I don't think its possible to have too much strength, if your QB is over throwing guys or leading them too much its a throwing issue.

No I don't buy that theory at all.

You can't have too much of an attribute. This isn't real life. Strength isn't gonna make it hard to catch for receivers. It just gets the ball to your target faster so the defense has less time to react on the ball while it's in the air.

Exactly. I see people talking about "strength making it hard to catch balls". Just because Mike Vick threw too hard for any human to catch consistently, doesn't mean that this game works that way too. I've never seen ANY evidence that high levels of strength making catching balls more difficult. But I've seen plenty of evidence that low levels of strength make INT's easy! lol

As i agree that, in my opinion (don't know about what Bort think), there shouldn't be something that punish you from having too much of an attribute, and that GLB isn't real life, i'm not sure we can be 100% sure that's not the case. But i don't have neither a high level QB, nor a high strength QB to figure that by myself.

Well this is just a game and penalizing people for too much of one attribute won't happen. It's not like real life where it will make it harder to catch but will get the ball where you need it to be quicker. Things like 80 broken tackles in one game is a good indication of how far this is from real life and how the game is just an algorithm based on numbers and probability.

With the new QB settings, it does say bullet passes are harder to catch.

and the lofty ones are easier to catch and intercept so I'm assuming the speed of the pass does effect the catch.

Well if the ball is traveling fast enough and you have a WR with low vision than yes he will have a hard time making the catch.

Bort says that the default setting was some where around bullet. He said he noticed a better completion % when he was testing medium so that's what I'm gonna put mine on & test it out.

If it is an incompletion shouldn't that mean it was on the QB? The drops should be on the WRs. It would help for evaluating who needs to improve.
