Better be something of equal value and mind blowing. I'm not interested in going into a season with 3 CB's.

FYI for future players that read this: it is a good idea to talk to the owner or GM BEFORE you post these types of forums. Not good to get offers that you don't expect.

Maybe he isn't going to sell him and you are the prick. I don't think cash is equal value either. They only have four cornerbacks and it wouldn't be prudent to go forward with only three. You don't even own a team, so why are you even in discussions for this player? Were you approached by Togo or given any signal that they were going to trade this guy? Since you can't offer 500k, I would guess that was a hint that a deal wasn't doable.

Then the owner needs to state that. Both owner and player need to get this crap worked out. Stop wasting other owners time. For the player, deal with your team. You signed the contract honor or work something out with your owner. For the owner, if you are going to make demands that exceed what is allowed by GLB, stop wasting my time and just state that you will not trade him here in the thread. Honestly getting sick of players posting for trades in FA thread though. As if it isn't tiime consuming enough scouring through the legit FA's.

I would take an equal CB signed for an equal amount of time. Not anything any less. I would also need to see the build of said CB and exchange PM's that the player isn't going to be posting on the forum looking for a job he already had.
