Tunda doesn't seem to understand that Prague/Cincy rivalry. We look forward to the meeting

Seemed like a sarcastic thing to say. It never occurred to me that you could've been serious.

Looking forward to it Kenyon, but yall are running out of gas man .. like your team, I wanted to play yall in the playoffs last season because I think its fun playing yall (the talking on the forums beforehand is usually fun).

But this season I just dont see it man, I hope that yall prove me wrong and its a close and fun game, but you are going to have to show me that you can do it with less talent, because I just dont see it.

Im not trying to disrespect yall at all BTW, I just wanted to say that I felt times are changing in EE Pro.

Do I need to bump the thread where Tunda Klap asked that?

The only people who have problems with yall are funny talkin yankees and I could really care less what funny talkin yankees think about how I talk.

Down where I come from all the folks greet each other with HOWDY!, a firm handshake, they look you in the eyes and they say ma'am to ladies .. and they refer to a group of folks as yall.

They hold doors, pull out chairs and help folks when they look like they are having a hard time.

I know yankees dont understand this, but where I come from some traditions and pleasantries are not dead.

To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.

Amen! Tennessee and Texas have their differences, but the south will be the south. Going on my 6th year in connecticut now, and i never realized how nice it was to have all the things you spoke of as a normal way of life, until i moved here.

I live in Germany now and people here are downright rude compared to Texas. If they see a woman struggling to get her luggage onto a train they stare and think "stupid bitch, why did she pack her bags so heavy". Its a really "me" based culture over here, funny because thats what the US is critized as being. But at Texas A&M the old ways are not dead. Ladies are walked around campus at night, more often than not when a lady gets onto the bus to go around campus, 90% of the men stand up and offer her their seat, she has her choice and men will give you a funny look if you dont stand up. I might not have been taught how to do things the right way at home, but Texas A&M and Texas as a state taught me how it ought to be and Im quite happy to have been "learned".

BTW my wife is a German and she prefers it in Texas as well .. not the heat, not the flat land, not the pollution or lack of trees .. but she does like the friendly people and that you dont have to push and shove to go shopping.
