Thought now to be an appropriate time to start to look forward to Season 4 and what we can do to fill in the monotiny between games.

Player of the Game (All)
After every game, post in a thread your teams Offensive and Defensive MVP.
Make sure to post stats.
This will be used to judge a player of the Quarter, rather than player of the week, as it fits better.

League Stats thread (All)
As I said before I want to start tracking team and League records, so if all teams had a post in a Season Records Thread and just updated through the season when the achieve a new benchmark, it should run a lot more smoothly.

I can then browse just those 32 posts and update the League Post easily.

Power Rankings. (Mike Rogers & League Vote)

Please send me your own personal Power Rankings in line with the following timetables. I will compile and post.

Feel free to comment on any teams you like, to make my job easier

I will say how many I recieved and if you like from who, but not necessarily the specifics.

Day 1 : Provisional (allowing for Last season, plus new signings.)
Day 9 : First 4 Games
Day 17: First 8 Games
Day 25: First 12 Games
Day 33: Final League Power Rankings

Per Game.

* Game Previews (Several) I expect some good work from those who regularly contribute, and hope that the great AAA threads become great Pro Threads as well!

* Prediction Spreadsheet (Zickzack/Hampe)
This was a conversation killer in every forum I was in last season.
However that was because it was so accurate after mid season.

* Prediction League (TBC)
As it was before, pick the winners and get a sparkly point.

* Position Challenges (TBC)
Each position will have a specific Thread and a specific agreed challenge, something trackable through stats.

Anyone who wants to be involved must update their own stats in their own Post in the thread and its an honour system, but I expect those interested will be checking up on each other

Hopefully all the added activity will make it easy to pull the best bits out of the Forums and get more content?

I'll have a try for the prediction league again, I might try and find a program however that can make it much easier for me to do it all.

Sounds good, but I cant find the seasons records thread with all that canadian spam. I just updated our records pages and have all stuff together.

I will set up posts for all the above then if no one objects.

A little early but it might help to 'Tidy' the forum up a bit as there is a hell of a lot of rubbish floating to the surface.

glad you're back in control of this forum, mike. canadian spam ... i think i had that for breakfast this morning. it tasted kind of 'eh.

Ok I set up a 'Challenge Thread' for RBs and WRs fairly straight forward, any suggestions comments etc put em in here.

Then the first few posts on that thread is just for the stats of those who enter and any debate that happens.

Those are just an idea, the challenges can be reworked if you think theres something missing...

ideas for other challenges???

Please lets get some Records created ready to put in place.
