I always though strength was the way to go until I saw a DE with under 30 strength and 60+ agility and 50+ vision and high speed. Hows mine look. Should I put all equipment into agility?

I've got a guy with a very similar build (with similar results, as well), and I'm asking myself the same question. I think the miked33 speed rush route is no longer viable for us, given the number of points invested in strength. I've just put all equipment onto agility, and we'll see what happens.

I think those super high speedsters might be relocating gear to agility this season. Their builds seem built around explosion and acceleration rather than top speed.

Yeah I agree. I justy want to know if I should take some equipment out of strength and put it into agility.

C'mon people, I help as many of you as I can. Anybody else with suggestions before I boost him to start the season?

I still think the speed guys will need a top gear to reach the QB, and as a result speed will still be important. Agility may be more important in acceleration now, but if your top speed is slow, accelerating quickly doesn't really mean much. I also imagine Agility is a close second to Speed for them anyway.

Any thoughts on pumping up Shed Block further?

Your build is pretty close to mine. My stats haven't been to good because (I've been I back up till a few days ago). I would want until a few preseason games to see how he stacks up and then make adjustments. That's my plan anyhow.

Well I opened up both of me DE's builds, you can see what they have and what they do with it. The only difference is vision, which was going to be priority #1 for me this season even before I saw his post.

two stinky guys with high speed/agility and lot's of SA's combined for like 3 career sacks. If vision makes that much of a difference, I guess that is what you should be raising...

I've opened up my two guys for now:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=123774

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=117932

Last year they both had equipment spread across strength/speed/agility, and did alright, against reasonable competition. Maybe balanced DEs aren't so bad?

Anyway, I've moved the equipment onto agility for one, and speed for the other...we'll see what happens.

As for shed block, there was a thread the other day (sorry...can't find it now) where t-money said he had two DEs with the same build, except one had significantly more points in a certain SA. The conclusion was that you needed to have a lot of pints in the SA before it really worked. Not sure if he was talking about shed block, specifically, but it seems plausible.

Ive heard about that before but is 6 not enough in a SA to make it really effective.
