Warrior General Games

New team here in the league, we've got an almost halfway active owner and a sadly overworked but very awesome GM.

Since nobody else has posted here yet, I decided I'd post our arrival post. We look forward to being sub-500 but scoring points for our first time in a regular season game, and having lots of opportunity to practice our special teams and defensive skills. Good luck to all, I hope you are ready to be "stung" by the scorpions (our owner said this on another forum, and I thought it was LOLbad).

In all seriousness -

We were a gutted team and just got taken over by a new owner. Its got to be tough rebuilding, which is what we will be doing this year. We came from USA-A#4, which seems to be an EXTREMELY competitive league, as is this one. Also, we can't wait to play the Richmond Empire.

Hey, that was our only win last season. I hate to see them get new management...lol. Oh well, good luck from RCR.

welcome to the league..you'll probably squeak out a win on us.. we're a team with behemoths on it but we wussed out on the field all of last season..

Agreed.We also came from there and it is very hard over there.Im very glad to see that the scotpions got a new owner to get the team right though

Richmond Owner:
It will be an interesting match-up if we do play each other... I'm still building and wheeling and dealing to get this team together and get in shape. Hopefully we don't just lay down and let you run all over us.

Fairly exciting - we got each other in a scrimmage. Someone is going to break their losing streak!

I can't believe you are keeping that name. I would be trying to get as far away from that legacy as I could. But it seems to be popular with the other owners. lol

Yea, honestly I would like to change it, but a few of them asked me to keep it because of it's "Iconic" status. I'll probably change it next season if we are still cursed haha.

It is "iconic" but it's also "your team"!

Hell, I'd change it just because of the stigma that is attached to it.

Maybe we could nominate some new names.

I still think that the Richmond Short-bus Window Lickers has got to be the funniest team name I've ever seen elsewhere.
