I've seen a few builds that have people putting stats into their speed and agility category. Is this necessary at all?

I wouldn't put actual skill points into speed or agility until all of kicking, strength, vision, and confidence are at least in the 50s or 60s. They're helpful, but definitely not main attributes. Just training on them should be more than sufficient.

The thinking earlier was that speed affected leg speed (how fast foot got to the ball) and agility was also affecting p/k mechanics. I dumped a few SP into those, but didn't see anything. I would pump punting, strength, vision and confidence and train everything else.
