Warrior General Games

I know alot of people want to or have been invited to play in the Top 64 tournament. All of us in WEPL think that whole top 64 is a joke and will not be participating in it. Instead, we would liek to offer a challenge to the EEPL. We can either pick who plays who, or just have it Alpha #1 plays Alpha #1 etc. etc. This will determine which PRO league is the top in Europe. What do you guys think? Are you up for it?

Im up. Ask Bobmoult if he wants us to be in it(The Sarajevo Reapers).

I'd prefer to play in the top 64 team bracket.

Welp we will be busy with the tournament, besides Im in EE Pro because I had no interest in playing with all the other Aggie teams in WEPL.

The 64 teams in that bracket are completely arbitrary and the rankings are pretty non-sensical, I think WE vs. EE lets 2 top flight leagues play a good quality opponent

Yeah the top 64 is based off of some guys opinion. And the list was a top 30, which he has his own team on it, so he bumped it to top 60, then top 64, and moved his own team way down, but what im getting at, is that its one guys opinion. I could see if Bort did somekind of a numbers approach and made an actual top 64 and made a tourney. But to host a tourney like that based off of that guys opinion is stupid. hes only got 7 WEPL teams and 11 Canada PRO(only leagues i counted) and no telling how many USA teams..its ridiculous. I think WEPL vs EEPL would be great. Everyone would have a top notch team to play against, and we would see which is the stronger league. *cough*Western*cough*

Well good luck on your venture, but all the best teams in EE Pro are on the list pretty much (a case could be made for a few Alpha teams I suppose) and Im pretty sure we would all play in that tournament just because SOMEONE took the time to do it.

Any attempt at ranking teams from all the regions is going to be flawed, I could sit here and argue all day how my team should be better or some other team should be lower on SI's list, but instead, Im just going to participate and have fun and see if we cant smash some heads in and bring some respect for EE Pro.

And? Did you take all the effort that he has .. lets call his bid an automatic bid for being the host of the tourney and suck it up and play.

Seriously .. most of the people complaining wouldnt have done 1/1000th of the work he has done or take 1/1000th of the crap he has taken.

There are complainers and people who actually get things done, I respect SI in that he put his head down and is trying really hard, minus maybe his own team.

this coming from a guy who played a shit team in round 1 and got shut out in round 2....seriously, lol. And it was 7th seed ha. Also why not play us in the scrimmages...i figured we play your 7th seeded zeta team, but i wont mind beating up on a 3rd seed

Its not all that arbitrary. The top teams are on the list and if they decide to enter, the winner of the tourney could be considered one of the best in GLB.

It is based on his opinion but out of 64 teams he did manage to get the top teams in there. If my team is truly worthy we will have a chance to match up with the best.
