anyone else doing this? My DE is going to be a ROLB in the 3-4 this upcoming season.

me, I started my de with the intention of having him as a pass rushing outside lb in the 3-4, just waiting for the day the scheme comes out

yeah mine is going to be a 3-4 LOLB. ts gonna be very hard to be a 3-4 ILB because if your DL is bad and your ILBs aren't very strong your screwed.

It should be easier to find quality containment DEs for the 3-4 than rush DEs for the 4-3 though. You can even use 1 NT and 2 DTs on the 3-4 line if you want.

I would have guessed you would want a DE in the middle as a high strength guy, and use faster guys on the outside (Defense General not being used by 2 LB's already that is)
