They lose the Championship game and the owner bails?

He was planning on leaving the game for awhile. He informed us of this right after the championship game. We're awaiting a new owner ... those of us who are left.

I know, it was a bit of a joke. I was just wondering what happened to him.

He was unhappy with a lot of the direction in this game. And the duties to being an owner got to be more of a burden than enjoyable. He decided this was for the best.

Like Jroc said, this deision was made a bit before this last game. He was in contact with me and told me how he felt. The last game didn't have any influence.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Hope you guys can get someone in to keep the ship from sinking if its not too late already.

Our biggest problem is that a good chunk of players are owned by the previous owner, so we'd inevitably have to replace them. Chaos didn't want to gut the team, so most of us are signed through the end of this next season. No one really knows where we're headed yet, or what we all plan on doing, so we'll just have to wait it out for now.

So do you guys have a new owner coming in? It would be as shame, to lose a great team like that! And it is a great team!

Yes, a new owner will be coming in soon. The team is CPU owned right now but that should change soon.

Someone finally getting a good hand dealt them with a new team...they are gonna be surprised lol

Good Luck to you guys, I hope it works out for all of you. Just be patient w/ the new owner and stick together and help him out and you will be fine, I'm sure!

Wow the new owner gets to stumble into a gold mine. A legit Pro contender right out of the gate

The worst part about it is CT owned the starting QB, a top receiver, one of our go-to running backs and a starting DE, not to mention several of our key depth players. Replacing those and remaining a contender will be a tough task for anyone, let alone a new owner. So it might not quite be the perfect gold mine. Safe to say, we will be hard pressed to repeat as your Alpha champ. But those of us who are left are quality players and are certainly not going to lay down.

I respect CT, and wish them good luck. Not too much though
