Chemical Toilet: Currently level 18 (Agility and Strength are both to their soft caps)
Strength: 62.38 Blocking: 15
Speed: 32.36 Tackling: 30.38
Agility: 54.38 Throwing: 8
Jumping: 7 Catching: 10
Stamina: 29.4 Carrying: 7
Vision: 26.16 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 23.07 Punting: 7

Pass Rushing SAs: 4-7-2-3-1 [w/ CE]
Run Stuffing SAs: 1-2-0-0-0

I plan on training confidence for pretty much the entire time. I've considered training jumping a bit just so I can activate the Swat Ball SA, but that's not really a huge priority

Level 19: +1 into Strong Base, +3 vision [Or if I need to put one in Swat Ball, I will do that, and then use the rest for vision]
Level 20: +1 into Strong Base, rest in vision
Level 21: +1 into Strong Base, +1 to Swat Ball rest in Vision
Level 22: At this point, I should have something like 4-7-3-6-1 for my Pass Rushing SA and have vision around 34-35 so I think I'll put all 5 points into Vision
Level 23: Just continue to work to get Vision to the soft cap

In theory I should be here around Level 23:
Main SAs:
Strength: 68
Agility: 60
Vision: 48 or so (when you add the upgrades per level)
Tackling: 34-36
Confidence: Not really sure how to estimate this one because I'm not sure how long the whole process will take, but hopefully around 30

4-7-3-6-1 for my Pass Rushing SA

Hey guys, I've had some problem with production for my DT and I've been a bit frustrated with it so any advice is greatly appreciated.

STR is too low. AGI is too low. SA's are a waste before lvl 22. Get both AGI and STR to the next soft cap.

Strength and agility should have priority over vision. Does vision really even help with pass rusher's, I've never noticed a difference.

I noticed in season 2 when I trained vision up to about 22 it slightly increased my results. Then in season 3 when I was rearranging equipment points I took 3 out of vision and I had a bad string of games. I put my old custom equipment on which had 2 vision and I improved slightly. I think if it's too low you play pretty poorly. All this was with my DE though. I haven't seen enough to form an opinion about DT vision.

I'm currently training to see if I notice anything. So far, not so much.

So completely ignore everything except Strength/Agility basically?

Basically. Those are the only two important stats really, the rest being minors.

I'd get your speed up a bit first, to try and turn some of those hurries into sacks.

30+ speed is _plenty_. At least until agility hits 70 or so.

I agree.

30+ speed is plenty for a NT but DT's can really benefit from 40+

Judging by your current stats you have been much more effective against the run then against the pass. Half your tackles are TFL so you're doing well there. You need to look at getting more hurries and turning more hurries into sacks. With your AGI at the first soft cap feel free to keep working on it but you can get more out of SPD sooner.

Our Defense also is pretty based on clogging the middle and stopping the inside run which kinda bunches everyone together a bit and doesn't give as much of an opportunity to get to the QB so I think that may be affecting things too

STR/AGI is the counter to offensive line's STR/BLK.

Strength and agility can't really be overstressed for a NT/DT. Tackling could also stand to improve.
