that title belongs SOLELY to the '72 Dolphins......only undeeated franchise in historybelieve me or not but i actually know a guy that played on the 72' dolphins, he even told me that the competition back then wasnt what it was today, plus the patriots won more games than the 72' Dolphins anyway....1972 is a long time ago, can we please progress to the present
you can accidentally win 1 game in the NFL, and thats what the Dolphins did last season, there was only a handful of players that played game in and game out on their team and when they did beat the Raven they acted as if they won the Super Bowl, now if you connect that with perfection then, i have know idea what that definition is
1. There were fewer teams in the league when the dolphins went undefeated meaning there was more dense competition
2. Competition is relative to the era that you play. Other players may not have been as big or fast, but neither were the dolphins, you can't compare era against era, only how teams performed IN that era.
3. The patriots were amazing...setting records this year...
