After going on a five game winning streak, the Miami Fish officially change their name to the Miami Perfection.

When asked about the choice of name, the players denied it as a sign of the team becoming conceited because of their recent success, but rather, "it is an homage to a team that played a long time ago that achieved something that no other professional football has done before, and no other team has done since."

But no NFL team has gone undefeated other than the Miami Dolphins. So basically, when you're talking about "Perfection" when it comes to football, no other city BUT Miami should mentioned.

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenh......wrong

The correct answer was....

The Miami Dolphins are the ONLY team to complete a PERFECT season....no one, not Bradshaw's Steelers, The 85 Bears, or even the 2007 Cheatriots have put together a PERFECT season....

that title belongs SOLELY to the '72 Dolphins......only undeeated franchise in history

believe me or not but i actually know a guy that played on the 72' dolphins, he even told me that the competition back then wasnt what it was today, plus the patriots won more games than the 72' Dolphins anyway....1972 is a long time ago, can we please progress to the present
you can accidentally win 1 game in the NFL, and thats what the Dolphins did last season, there was only a handful of players that played game in and game out on their team and when they did beat the Raven they acted as if they won the Super Bowl, now if you connect that with perfection then, i have know idea what that definition is

I actually know Marlon Briscoe personally, he lives in Long Beach, CA...I heard about the season numerous times from him

1. There were fewer teams in the league when the dolphins went undefeated meaning there was more dense competition

2. Competition is relative to the era that you play. Other players may not have been as big or fast, but neither were the dolphins, you can't compare era against era, only how teams performed IN that era.

3. The patriots were amazing...setting records this year...

Most Pass TD's by a QB
Most offensive TD's in a season
Biggest fine ever for CHEATING

Say what you want, but the fact that their the only team to ever go undefeated holds true. Neither you, nor the 97 Cheatriots can take that away from them.

Go Miami Perfection!!

the original post was about your current team, but everyone got off topic, if you guys finished the season with a flawless record, or even had a flawless record until now, but you guys don't and i don't see how that equals perfection, but apparently you guys do, so whatever floats your boat i guess..

Thing is we all didnt join this team until about 3-4 or so games ago.

Most people didn't even know this game existed.

The CPU and a couple of humans which aren't on the team anymore had it before then.

So as far as this core of players is concerned, we are undefeated.

Regardless, the name is a homage to that '72 team.
