To advise the killer rabbits of Ballincog or wherever have a new owner as of the 15th of July.

To reflect the fact that we play in the USA Western division and that I hated the inherited name we are now known as the

Santa Cruz Slashers

Sweet. Another Jayhawks fan. Spent several of the best years of my life there. Damn, I wish I could remember them.

I almost went to KU because I have family in Lawrence. I didn't make it there, but I'm still a Jayhawk fan. It was damn fun watching them play football last season.. and Basketball too for that matter. They definitely didn't let me down this year.

Besides the Chiefs, I've been on cloud 9 lately as far as sports go. KU kicked butt in both basketball and football. And now that I live in Pittsburgh, I've gotten into hockey more. It was nice to see the Penguins make a good run. I'm even happy with the way the Chiefs are handling their current situation.

Well sorry Jayhawks fan but I think last years football run was more of a fluke than anything substantial. But don't think I'm only singling out KU I also think after this year Missouri is going to come back to earth though I still don't think they'll be nearly as successful as they were last year.

Last year was a fluke for KU...Mangino got lucky to have an all-star CB like Talib and a lucky Todd Reesing on the same team...Mizzou will be back down next year once Daniel leaves...Hopefully Bo will get the defense righted here at Nebraska, and if he does, we could be dangerous this year...

I'm not really a Big 12 guy but I think Bo will get Nebraska back on track he should have been the guy they hired last time around.

I think KU can be decent but it won't be like last year, same for Mizzou.

I totally agree that KU likely won't be able to replicate last year's success. But I don't think you can completely discredit the job Mangino and his staff did with them last year and say it's all because of a couple players. Football is too much of a team sport. Bear in mind that people called Nebraska's first down year a fluke too. How many years has it been?
