I have a SS on my team that is a decent all around player, but having limited experience building safeties, I am not the best to ask on what would be important to work on.

He's not a liability on defense by any means, but I think he needs a little something extra to take the next step and become a dominating safety, and that's where you folks come in.

Strength: 35.68 Blocking: 13.64
Speed: 49.33 Tackling: 40.74
Agility: 33.43 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 23.04 Catching: 16.4
Stamina: 33.63 Carrying: 13.64
Vision: 42.62 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 21.43 Punting: 10
Coverage Tree: 3-2-2-2-3
Hard Hitter Tree: 4-2-3-3-2

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Vision vision vision! SO many strong safeties disregard vision, its hugely important from my personal experience. Agility needs to be higher too. Tell him to lay off the SA tree, he's spread it out pretty far.

So his vision, already over 42, should be higher?

Yeah, you want it at 48 without equipment. I'd be of more help if I could see his stats without equipment.

It should be way higher, but that's just my personal opinion. I think agility might be a main focus for a level or 2 though, as well.

He's got some hard work ahead if he wants to compete with similarly leveled wideouts/TEs, honestly. Usually its better to focus on one SA tree, or do both but sparingly, definitely used up a lot of points that may have been better put to use boosting the physical/football attributes.
