Their owner is a real ass! He signed my CB and promised starting CB and KR position. Then right after I gave him a hell of a game, best on the team in Top Performers, he brings in 2 top-tier CBs, sticks me to 5th CB and kicks me out of KR and trades me to a team that hasn't won a game in more than 1.5 seasons to rescue his friend. Is this fair at all?

Dont expect anyone to back you on here. Most of the people playing this game live in their mothers basements (if they are even out of middle school yet) and really get a stiffy over bossing people around. Ive been down the road you are trying and it dosent work. To answer your question... No it isnt fair, but when you are at the mercy possibly of some booger eating 6th grader (not taking a shot and anyone just making a genrealization, i know thats a big word for some of you) what are you going to do? stay strong brother...

^ Earl is upset that his C cant start over the better ones that guy has. King, your guy is level 6, to expect to start anywhere is wrong for your level, stick to D-leagues, and your game was not that amazing....btw, the team you used to be on only one game this season, not a big change...

King, the way I see this is that you signed, the owner lived up to his promise and you started and when he was able to bring in higher level players to improve the team he traded you so that you could still get playing time. It may not be what you wanted or even what you may have had a right to expect but that is not completely unfair of the owner in question and he does not deserve dirty laundry being aired in public like this.

Your CB is a level 6 and for a level 6 to be playing on a human team it is going to be as a back-up, not a starting player. If you are getting playing time now on your new team, be happy about that. If you are unhappy on the new team then you could PM the owner and ask to be cut at the end of this season. If the owner says no then you can simply wait until your are a free agent 1/3 of the way into next season. Your situation is not that bad at all.

In your shoes I'd probably just enjoy the playing time your player gets and participate in the teams forum. Then on day 16 when your CB is a free agent politely decline any new contract offer and seek out a new owner for your player who is likely to be level 8 at the time. One never knows, if you make some effort to fit into the new team you might just find yourself happy about staying. If you do leave as a level 8 free agent you could always boost at that time and would then have a good chance of finding a new team and possibly starting as a level 11 CB.

Just my two cents. Good luck King.

You're lucky to even get a team. I won't recruit anyone under level 18.

I wouldn't be throwing any teams under the bus. That's a pretty quick way to get on a GM's blacklist.

Wait, I'm a GM! Well, maybe just my blacklist. Good luck!

No, but don't promise playing time if you ain't going to give it! He could of told me he was going to bring in other players to help the team, but his big thing that wheeled me in was the starting position, there were 2 teams that offered me more money. And it wasn't even a "help the team" move, it was to help his friend who made a bad choice by trying to be a star on a terrible team, but it turned out that he got screwed. The big whoop: His friend was only 2 LvLs higher! Guess what, my dude is averaging 2 yards a game better than his friend in KRs and my guy is getting plenty of PT being a KR for a terrible team! I liked the way it turned out, I'm just pissed about the fraud that was presented to me by that owner!

LOL King and Earl please stop throwing teams under the bus, what the hell is wrong with you guys
-So you thought you got treated unfairly and in a moral case yes you did (king) (Earl you're an idiot) but this is business don't take it personal
-All you could do is show him that he made a big mistake and make him regret he sent you off

Good luck (king) (Earl.....you're an idiot)

I don't know about all of you people but where I come from a promise is a promise. If you promise a player a starting position "unless I get someone better to sign" then I can understand getting booted to the back.

But if you promise someone a starting spot and then renege withing a couple games you're just a jerk.

I feel for you King of Dads... I have almost the same situation with my receiver. I get one start then boom... a couple more guys are signed and I get sent to the back of the line. Nothing you can do about it though except to wait out your contract and play on relaxed.

Good luck to ya.

Yeah its a tricky situation, ironically something that happens in the pro's all the time. A promise is a promise though, its one thing to promise something give it an honest try and go you know what this isnt working then decide you need to go in another direction either immediatly or in the future.

Also a different story if the player refuses to set his training level so that he can recharge to 100% energy. Their are implied things on both sides of the contract.

As an owner or GM I think if you make a promise you keep it , but their are also action by the player that could break it (i.e. posting bad stuff in the forum , sniping at other players etc..)

1) no owner bashing allowed in forums. it makes everyone look like an ass
2) it's an unfortunate part of the game, but players can (and do) screw over owners (just as often) by going inactive, not following gameplans, and promising to re-sign for long term contracts & then running away w/o even a PM. Your situation sucks, but you gotta suck it up and deal w/ it.
