Since bolstersam said he doesn't want to do these anymore because of the feedback he received, I'll volunteer to do some awards.

I'll give each team 3 days to send me stats for their top guy(s) at each position -- anyone who you think is really worthy of winning an award.

To keep this organized, I'm only going to accept lists from team owners. Owners, feel free to have a GM or team member do the work, but the PM has to come from you.

I'll compile the list and will use my subjective opinion to limit it to the top 5.

Then everyone will gripe. I'll tell you all to kiss my backside.

Owners will vote.

I'll reveal the results.

I think bolstersam's list of awards was a good one, so we'll just use those, but add one for DT.

Please just put your team name and USA Pro Awards in the subject of the PM (Ex. Bourbon Street Bullies - USA Pro Awards)

i agree with the others that he should just continue, but i also believe that:
1- no matter what you do, people will gripe
2- very thick skin is needed to pull this thing off
3- sometimes people decide it's not worth the effort

rather than see the awards die off, i don't mind organizing them. a little owner input up front in the form of nominations seems like the best way to go.

if bolstersam decides to continue with them, i'd happily step aside. i'm just doing this so that the awards don't die off

Bolstersam is a fool. He did the ballots already but for best tight ends he didnt put either one of the Warpaths TEs which were the 2nd and 3rd best TEs and if we just went with 1 TE we would have smashed since Spencer Strode and Kellen Winslow Sr had a combined 146 Receptions for 1347.5 yards, 11 TD's and 7 Pancakes. How do you miss putting either one of those TEs on your ballot?????

is not included in the TE voting is utterly ridiculous. 2nd in the league in yards in season 1, 1st in yards in season 2, and 3rd in yards this year for TEs and not even a consideration?

Why? Because I dont get into the pissing matches on the forum? These votes are nothing more than a popularity contest and are completely worthless.

He also didn't put Nicholas Raine down at CB. Not only did Nicholas Raine have way more impressive numbers (see: less), a noticeable number of his tackles came against the run, and he had only one bad game (against Pinball Wiz).

feel free to list anyone you want here, but as i stated before, i'm going to use the lists that the owner send me of their own players. if an owner doesn't list his own guy, there's a big chance i won't consider him.
