In what has become a great BBB rivalry, the Lumberjacks and Nighthawks are set to square off again. The Lumberjacks sit at 2-1 in the series, on a two game, very convincing winning streak. I gotta tell you guys, I'm nervous. I'm excited. I'm ready to get things going. But in the mean time, I've got a riddle for ya.


If a Nighthawk wanders into the forest, and it is chopped by a mighty Lumberjack, right in half, with nobody around...does it make a sound?

Trick question, cause the whole damned BBB 13 is waiting for this one. You've got the typical upset-ready team. They've beaten the teams they were supposed to, struggled against the teams they were supposed to...all the while not really fearing their playoff entry, quietly getting just enough done. David thinks he is ready to slay the giant.

But this giant ain't "Goliath." These are the perilless ATX Lumberjacks. And Paul Bunyan is bring his Great Wall of Beard defense with em, the league leading defense that is nary scored upon. And how are you gonna keep up with The Greatest Show in the Timbers? Through the air, or on our blessed soil, we're brangin it.

The Jacks are ready. Our axes are sharpened...Babe the big Blue Ox is rarin to go...the timber women have been sexed. It's all over but the cryin. We're just waitin to find out who our round 2 victim will be.

Good-game, I have to say it was closer than I thought, I was not in town this weekend so I didn't get much scouting done. My coaches did a good job though. This season has been a struggle that started with trading for an upgrade at guard & OT only to get some of those, I'll do it my way players & fuk the team. You know the ones, that refuse to close attributes or get to your team from some chit team & say 2 days later "trade me to my friends team" Kinda makes you want to fill your roster with your own guys. Anyway good luck to you guys the rest of the way, I'm going for some target practice at the "border hoppers target range" It's great for a release of frustrations!

Good game, Jacks. Our offense struggled, but my squad had your nuts in the vise. You better pray you make it out of the 13. =P

Yeah man, good game. Honestly your team has scared me the most this season, since the beginning. I've been saying it in these forums and in our own.

Much respect to your team, and I hope like hell we WON'T meet again next year...but won't be surprised if we do see each other again in the future.

Good luck to yourself as well. I sure appreciate you're being a good sport about everything. Our intentions never were to be the assholes we might come off as. We're just a bunch of fun-lovin cats who happen to have a studious owner that gets it done.

Yappin as much as we do would be no fun at all without cool-ass cats like yourselves to yap it with. That goes for all the 13th as a whole.

Actually there may be a problem with the avatar bet, I'm going on vacation tomorrow for a week, I definitely won't be online as much as normal. I could wear it the week after if need be. Whatever.

I don't think anyone, at least anyone on my team, has counted Anchorage out in the least. They've always been my #1 concern of the conference. But I still think we'll own their faces.
