Alright I've 6 boosts and 8 days training (including a natural level up) to get this guy ready for the new season, what should I invest in, by the way I've 14 strength from equip and one across the power tree, thats included in the stats below

Strength: 64.64 Blocking: 12.2
Speed: 25.54 Tackling: 10
Agility: 23.23 Throwing: 12.2
Jumping: 12.2 Catching: 12.2
Stamina: 22.95 Carrying: 25.09
Vision: 22.29 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 14.64 Punting: 9
SA 2 across the power tree

I'd say to pump up lower shoulder and power through, as well as pushing your strength to the 2nd soft cap (60).

So, that would be 20 SP in strength.
2 points to 1st special to bring it to 3.
10 to the lower shoulder to bring it to 6.

That leaves 3... put 2 in agility and 1 in stamina.

Thats what I'd do anyways. And then focus on getting lower shoulder up to the cap.

I'd put equipment in strength. Then it's time to start thinking about where you're going to put your training, and avoiding those things with skill points.

Thinks you might need:

Confidence needs to be above 20 (train this)
Carrying needs to be above 30 according to Bort (train or maybe some points).
I'd want agility and speed up to 30 (train or some points).

Your still in the 20s in so many categories that I'm kind of inclined to not waste the high training boosts you can get on all these things. It's more of a long term strategy, but if you focused your points just on strength and the power SA tree you'd probably maximize your training for all this other stuff.

Just an idea. Good luck!

10 -> Agility
15 -> Carrying
10 -> Vision

Thats very close to my own thoughts, hit the 3 point soft cap (or maybe the 4 point soft cap) in strength and maximise the free points I get each level in strength. In my experience powerbacks either end up too slow (and not agile enough) to escape defenses while at the same time too weak to break tackles and too fast for guards to pull for

I'm probably gonna follow popeyejones and hulk since there thoughts are similar to mine

AGILITY!

Don't neglect agility just because you're a power back.

Abdolutely. How is your stamina right now?

I'd train confidence up to 20, and then start training up agility and then speed. You can put stamina in there as need be.

Well stamina is 23 but I've been able to train on normal after every game cause I split playtime pretty evenly with another guy

I suppose confidence should be on the list to train as well

sorry but i think some of the advice given is horrible. 64 is probably more than enough strength for a powerback, but what's the point of breaking through defenders if you can't get past them once you break free of them? Pump up your speed and agility, and then put some points in the special abilities tree. Don't neglet vision though

You're wrong.

Min/Max is the king in this game.

High Strength + High Lower Shoulder = Bulldozer

With that sort of strength, you want to be utilising it through getting some of the SAs up. Focus on the first 2 SAs in the Power Tree and get your strength to second soft cap. So, pretty much what HULK said up at the start.

As for training, go for agility, and then in your next levels, maybe slip a point or so in it each time you level, just keep it ticking over. Same with speed, keep them about the same.
