We talked about it a few weeks ago and then it died down. Well, with this being the last game tonight we should bring it up again. I think the majority of folks agreed to these rules :

Another thought would be to do an East/West All Star Teams. We already know we'll be biased towards our own divisions so why not just embrace it? I would suggest that one owner or nominated party from each team fill out a 24 man starting roster (I'm including K & P) that does not include any players from their own team. The roster submitted should just be for the division they play in - Nike-Joe couldn't vote for a Rapid City player in other words. Let a volunteer from each division add up votes, add a few roster spots for backups and there ya go, a bona-fide East/West all star roster.

Is there any genuine interest in this or is everyone pretty much over it?

i like the east/west idea. That would give everyone something to talk about during off season, who is better.

It might be easier to separate this into two different posts - one for eastern voting, one for western voting. Otherwise this thread will get confusing and long. I have no desire to head it up, so if someone from each conference would step up, collect and tally votes, and post the final results that would be awesome. Who's game?

You forgot the best LB in the Eastern conference ;P

If you are referring to M Ryan, comparatively he has a lot of tackles... but other statistics came into play in my opinion.

check the number of plays.. when you make the comparison

13 hurries to 3
19 PDs to 7
2 INTs to 0
30 plays total difference.

that was my rationale... tough call but I would like to see your list.

ryan total plays - 674
obermeier plays - 985

and I am not saying those guys aren't good. I was just saying I think you left off the best LB in our conference

Nice selections, though I thought we had agreed that you can't nominate someone from your own team
