Strength won't help because safeties will always have more strength than you. Even CBs will probably have more strength. With YAC you would probably be better off putting points into the speedster abilities, agility, and speed

Man, I get no YAC either and my speedster abilities are 4 4 4 3 3, strong and fast.

It depends on where you are on the depth chart. I have a lvl 15 WR speedster. He averages 13 YPC and around 6 YAC. He is a slot receiver, so it all depends on the position you are.

+1

To the OP, think about it. How are you going to get YAC.
1. Break tackles. (Train strength)
2. Outrun tackles. (Train speed)

Also, if you are a starting WR in a quality league, speed in the 40s-60s isn't really that great. Your opposing CBs will be just as fast as you. Go browse the CB forums and look at their builds. That gives you an idea of how fast you need to be. Keep in mind that most of the time you have to slow down to catch the ball, then speed up again. The CB doesn't need to do that; he just needs to get his dot near yours so he can tackle you.

well at least it sounds like it's just a part of the game, not my wr being bad... so i guess that's good...

so am i headed on the right track with the build? i wanted to get speed higher to try and get a little more separation and now i'm gonna get agility, catching and vision higher. is there a certain way i should do this? i'm gonna use my sp as i lvl, but should i soft cap them one at a time in order of importance, or just work on the all the same until they are all soft capped? and if i should do them one at time, what order should i?

as far as the depth chart goes, he plays on the team i'm a gm of so i have control of his position. and i believe and am the best balanced wr on the team. the other ones are based on speed and catching. lvl 13 43 speed, 42 catch. lvl 16 66 speed, 35 catch. and the rest of their skills are between 20 and 30. neither one is way faster or way better catching than me, so i think my balance puts me above them. what would be the best depth chart position to max their, and mine potential?
